    Tips

I havent played RuneScape in over a year, and i'm bored so I decided to give it another go.
I'm a zerker with 45 defence, barrows gloves etc.

Is it worth buying a godsword? I have the money, and i've noticed they've dropped hugely since a year ago.
If so, which one? And if not, what's an alternative.

I have 72 attack, and am willing to get it to 75 for the godsword.

The only godsword thats worth it is the AGS, since its special attack can be considered useful in PVP. With a ring of vigour, a Korasi -> AGS special combo is very powerful and has the potential to do 800-1000 LP if you time it right and get a good venge in there.

None of the others are worth anything at all, since their damage per second is far exceeded by a whip, saradomin sword, or chaotic weapon.

I suggest buying the AGS, since you are a zerker. The AGS will dominate those specs, achieving those PvP kills.

The Korasi Sword is done after doing some quest (I forget the name). It has a dominant mage special, hitting usually 400+.
The Ring of Vigour is a ring you get from 50,000 Dungeoneering tokens, and it reduces the special attack precentage for every weapon by 10%. Korasi requires 60% special attack to spec with it, but while wearing Vigour, it only requires 50%, so you can spec 2 times in a row.

Actually the RoV reduces the special cost of Korasi to 55% and AGS to 45%. You can't do two Korasi in a row without abusing game mechanics. The quest that gives the Korasi Sword is The Void Stares Back.

Oh cool, if I can be bothered I might get one. Haha:)

I might buy an AGS in the mean time. They're super cheap compared to a year-ish ago.

I recommend dragon claws instead of ags as the spec is more reliable.

    Tips

I personally have never believed Godswords are worth it. It can be good having a BGS or so in your bank for bosses in quests and whatnot, but for PKing I've never gone that way. As mentioned above, the Saradomin sword is a great alternative.
