Question About Hati

I was wondering if you can use a familiar to fight him...Also, if you do only a little amount of damage compared to others, do you still get the gloves+cape/hood no matter how much damage you do?

I want to do it on my summon tank and I'd like to know before I try..

 

You dont need a familiar to fight him but you can use one if you want to. there will be alot of people there anyway just take some sharks and attack him when he spawns, you will get paws and cape etc aslong as you do some damage to him. Goodluck.

 

Like the post above, you really do not need him, as he is quite easy to defeat, but if you want to use one like a storage familiar, then go right ahead, its allowed.

 

I went and finished hati/skoll right after I posted this...

It was surprisingly easy...I didn't even land a hit on hati, still got the 3 items..then I only used 1 log on the fire for skoll, got the boots..

 

You honestly don't need to bring food/good weapons/whatever.

I just went there on my way to a quest location, whacked him with my air staff and picked the Hati cape up (already had gloves from last year's event).

 

Do you have to talk to somebody to "start the quest" to actually get the drop?

I was heading up eastwards of Relleka for a clue scroll, when I came across a group of very low level plays (maybe 7-8 guys level 40-50) who were fighting this giant wolf called Hati. They asked me to help and so I hopped in and totally destroyed him, being much higher combat than them. When I killed him though, all I got was Wolf Bones for a drop and so I merely shrugged and moved on with my clue scroll.

How does the whole thing work?

 

Yeah talk to the Villager or something just outside Relleka gates.
