    Best time to SPEC

In your opinion, what do you think the best time to spec is for PVM and PVP?

While PvM'ing I usually go for specs after I hit 200+ on the monster and spec about 300 max.. but then again ive done random specs after splashes and low hits and got over 400.

The wep I am currently using is SS.

    So what do you think?

PvM - Spec them after a good hit or right after you potted.

PvP - Spec them when they have 15%-25% health left.

PVM I normal use specials to open the fight. PVP I normally wait till they are at LEAST half health, if not lower. With PVP you need to figure out what point they eat so when you do special it isn't right as they are eating. I think its better to find out how low they go before eating and special right above that point.

PVP - Between 40-60% health depending on the person, just before they're about to hit, as I cast veng.
PVM - Usually straight away to see how much dmg I do, usually try maxing with AGS for fun.

To tell if it's the time to spec, look at your opponent hp and the xp drop. The XP drop shows before you see the opponent's HP go down. If I hit my opponent to 60% hp, then the next hit has an xp drop, i quick switch to my spec wep.

PvM: Spec as early as possible to maximize your hits when your stats are highest from potting.

PvP: When a high hit drops from your xp counter when the enemy is average health.

I usually spec when I am potted + prayed up and my enemies life points fall somewhere around 1/2 to 2/3 of their health bar. It depends on the spec weapon though too, SGS might be alot different because you actually want your enemy to have more life points so that you can hit higher and heal the most prayer + life points as possible.

Doesn't matter when in PvM and in PvP it varies heavily.

pvm- start of the fight, get your most hits in at the start to avoid crashers

Most people in pvp safe so your going to have to get a mad veng/spec wep combo. I am a turm dharoker and when I whip out my axe they eat to 800 and I'm like wtf I only have 90str not risking much hp usally around 250-400 sometimes lower you do you eat there?
