How can I help the community?

This seems to be the correct section.

Basically, this is more aimed at mods or experienced users.

I do not have a huge amount of money, so donating a lot is not a very practical thing for me to do. However I do still want to help the community.

I should probally make this very clear now, I am in no way asking for any status like mod, or anything that goes bellow my name. Nothing that could be used to increase my credibilty on the site.
I simply want to know what normal users, myself included of course can do to help the community. Just something I can do for a few hours every week etc.

Any suggestions?

 

Honestly, just answer questions around the forums. If you see anyone asking for help do your best to give them a hand. A great way to do this is helping out in the Guides and Support Centre. You can right guides, help people in Help & Requests, Personal Support and Assistance and Sythe Support.

 

As above, and of course do NOT turn to the dark side of scamming. You can easily help out anywhere by

- answering people questions or problems.
- reporting spam or other posts that break the rules when you see it.
- And of course over all being a helpful member.

Oh and don't worry about donating, helping out is just as good as donating.

 

Like, Brendan stated, answering questions around the forum is a great start. Reporting spam, vaders, etc. is a great way of cleaning up the site of unwanted posts/users. Participating in things such as contests help activity wise. They're are a lot of things to do, just pick one in your comfort level, and start from there.
