Im Furious.

The account i bought off here from DtheK, today got locked, they said the locked it because they suspect someone knows my password. Im mad because that was my first trade i really knew nothing of what to ask for during the trade, meaning i didnt get the isp creator or any of the original details, all i got was the recoveries and the password it had on it. I just put membership on it and a bit of money, doubt ill get this account back because all i have is the recoveries :| Maybe this is a sign saying i need to quite RS, all it was doing is wasting my life..

 

Cant you just messege the person who sold you it to help you recover him?

 

You should get the old passwords/date created isp and such when you trade
why would you buy an account that you know you won't be able to recover..
Did you put anything on the account?

 

id love to message the person who sold it to me but.. i dont hes been on since that trade, and Zerker, i bought the account not once ever thinking of getting scammed, or thinking that i would need all of that info, it was when i first joined this site. And i put a couple mill on it and did a few quest and put some time into it..

 

How much value did you put onto that account?

If the guy didnt have many vouches, I'm betting he recovered the account.

 

Always ask for every single peice of info + use a OMM. Without all the details you will really struggle to unlock it. I've had the same issue before

You should have made him Use an OMM & gave you enought info for a successfull recovery test..

 

I suggest you get the original owner to recover it for you.

i would suggest contacting the person that sold you the account. Fingers crossed they can unlock it for you.

Details don't really matter. In general they can always recover an account with few to no details because their IP matches one that has logged into the account for a long time. Additionally, since your IP doesn't match you can sometimes not be able to recover even with all details such as old payments/creation ISP etc.

When buying an account, it's really just about how much you trust the other person as, if they want, they can recover the account at any time and you probably won't be able to recover it back.

It's a hard lesson to learn (I got scammed for an account my first trade on sythe too) - sorry that happened to you

It sucks, but you can still get the person who sold you banned. I suggest you send the seller a PM, asking for his help in recovering the account. If he doesn't reply in a few days/refuses to help, then I suggest you file a scam report on him. Getting back scammed accounts are very hard to do, and are rarely successful, but good luck.
