Amen to the remake of Freddy being garbage. They brought nothing new to it. Absolutely awful.

    Otherwise, not a bad list.

Not too keen on the Paranormal Activity series. It didn't help they'd shown the best bit of the film in the trailer though!

As for you asking about the original Halloween, yes, go watch it! It's a classic, you won't regret it!

All movies now a days are garbage. The last good horrow movie I've seen would have to be Paranormal Activity 1, on release night. The only reason it was so good at the time is because before the release it was so hyped up to be real. Then like 2 days later I found out there was an alternate ending and it ruined my thoughts on the movie. I saw insidious, scream 4, the devil inside, paranormal 2 and 3, just about any other horror movie you can think of from after paranormal 1, and have not been inpressed with any of them. Maybe it's because I'm older, and think logically. Idk odler movies are the best IMO.

Insidious wasn't great in my opinion. It wasn't anything special and wasn't particularly scary. The Devil Inside I thought was just god awful.

Haven't seen the new paranormals. As for Scream 4, I quite liked it - but then again, I love the Scream films.

I don't know, but I don't get scared or horrified from movies. The only move that's left a bad taste in my mouth was Saw, but that's solely because of how gruesome and graphic it is.

The only scary movie I've ever been legit scared of was When Darkness Falls, and I think I was 11 :) Other than that, they're great to watch with friends because a lot of times they're pretty funny. Scream 4 I have to say is one of the best out atm.

Yeah, I don't think scream is scary.. It's fun but not really terrifying. The only movies I possibly could sleep bad about it are Paranormal activity's . I'am 17 becoming 18 this year... so it would be silly If i wouldn't sleep about horror's anymore.. saw so many horror's but paranormal activity is just one big scary movie :)

I think Scream's supposed to have a hint of comedy in it though, to be fair!

Paranormal Activity I was fine with, but when I saw it in the cinema everyone was just laughing etc. - ruined the atmosphere! And I'm 18.

As for movies I find truly scary, really hate the Grudge/The Ring. Damn, do not like those films.

Ye, I understand . But I saw paranormal activity @ home with my home cinema ... I saw the second PNA in the theater and everyone was laughing .. But that's just pathetic ... people just laugh because they are afraid .. when you laugh that feeling overwhelms the other feeling :)

Definitely! It was just a shame because all the laughing really did ruin the atmosphere for everyone else.

Rewatched it at home and thought it might have been damn scary in the cinema, if there wasn't the laughing!
