Next Weapon Jagex releases

What do you reckon the next high level weapon jagex will release

Do you think it will come from a new boss?

What Attack/Levels will it require?

Any other comments?

Well they just released the Polypore staff, but I feel that that goes along with the chaotics needing 80. The also just gave out the Whip vine which was 85. So I'm going to have to say if anything they step it up to 90, or a stupid number like 88 like vls. It's hard to tell with Jagex.

 

Considering they just did a new mage wep and an upgrade to a melee wep, I say they come out with a new range wep.

I'm thinking something requiring 90 range.

Fast as the msb but can hit in the 30s, so basically the whip of range weps.

They also come out with a new ammo for it but it can still use bronze-god arrows but won't hit as high w/o the new arrows made specifically for the bow.

You get access to the wep via a quest but you can only get the item through monster drops from a certain new monster that's in the quest area.

Of course, knowing jagex, they'll probably stick with melee since they love it so much and could really not give a shit to making range keep up with melee.

Although they've done it to mage with the polpore staff. So who knows.

Dragon warhammer ?

 

I would love to see that with a Dragon Kite Shield.

But I think they will come out with another low level "Sling" kinda update but with Melle something Stupid like a Broken Sword...

 

Something for the low levels to keep them comming imo

 

It always seems they concentrate on Range last, they concentrate to much on melee.

 

Well Mage is sort of OP depending on your setup. Being a battlemage is alot more effective than any of the other two.

 

I just hope it isn't op like last couple releases...

 

yer i dont know like i dont feel they could come out with anything any more powerful like the chaotics atm can hit like 400's constantly and really quickly

maybe a dragon crossbow and with new bolts

but that may require a new gem and it already takes like 90 crafting to cut an onyx so a next level gem will require a 99

and then the amulet from that gem will be almost to powerful any ideas??

 

No matter what wep its gonna be.
The lvl req will be high, I assume 90.

 

Id like to see a d kiteshield tbh.

 

Maybe usable sigils similar to trinkets from wow

there is going to be a "weapon of the gods" which will be incorporated into Bounty Hunter world targets next month apparently (look up RuneFest videos for proof)

The game as it is is confusing and exitin g enough as it is for new levels. When they enter the game, ALL the weapons are new to them, they don't care if Jagex would release a new weapon, because if you are new you can't even tell the difference from old weapons and newly released ones.

 

I really do hope it is a new Bow or Crossbow, Range REALLY needs a new update, but knowing Jagex it's gonna be ANOTHER melee weapon.
