what is with this lag?

I fricken died and and my tomstone was in varrock and i open up my map to see where it was and i got lag soo i got a black screen so i had to refresh and i got put on a different world so i lost my damn tombstone. Now im upset what is with this lag recerntly?

 

If you go to the world you died in, your tombstone with your time will still be there, it just wont show the count-down on your screen.

 

Yeah, I have noticed this lag too, been really irritating when I am trying to trade on Sythe + MM. Maybe try to edit your graphic settings to a lower option.

 

Shit i didn't know that damnittt :/,


And my graphic is on low and my computer is only a year old what the hell and i can run wow fine but once i play runescape all hell breaks lose on my graphic card >_<

 

I keep seeing people complain about lag but I am having no problems at all. It's probably either your internet connection or your computer, possibly a combination of both.

 

I agree that they really need to fix this... I have had fairly steady lag every since the bot nuke, which at times gets really bad.

The other night I just completely logged off RS because I was at rock lobs and it was impossible to do with how laggy the game was. I tried everything... I cleaned my computer, closed all other applications, restarted, tried different servers, made sure my internet connection was as high as possible, and I still could not play. I came close to dying more than once and I would have been very upset if I had died and lost alot of money.

I'm not lagging at all, just stay in low ping worlds according to your location and graphics settings to match how much your computer can handle

 

Try playing on directx. When I experience a lot of lag(FPS lag) that's most of the time caused by the graphic mode i'm playing on. DirectX solves many things for me

 

I'm not lagging at all also its because of your internet maybe because the past 2 months + I haven't been lagging and check the ping of the world..

 

On control panel set the priority to high, instantly reduces lag!

 

so im nothe only one expreinceing this
