I'm botting right now using Simba, so Jagex and Jacmob can suck it.

 

Ah, I think this will affect botting. Jacmob knows a shit load about injection/reflection bots, so he probably knows how to prevent/stop them.

 

Wooo pretty neat pictures. Funny how he's a mod now tho. If someone did an rs-buddy equivalent to my company, I'd sue them for all their worth. Never would I consider hiring that person.

 

It only shows how weak Jagex is.
Atleast they needed not to allow Jacmob to keep the same username.

 

Jacmob, at the time, was the premier bot developer.

This means he was the one who knew the most about how bots, at the time, worked.

He was the most qualified person to be hired to end bots. It was a very smart move by Jagex as 1. It got rid of Jacmob's bot and 2. They got the best bot defense person at that time.

However, there have been bots long before Jacmob, and there will be bots long after Jacmob.

I have heard botting declared dead so many times in the past 8 years and each time it has come back better than ever.

In 2004 people thought running one bot at a time that took control of their mouse was excellent. When Scar Released SMART in 2008? everyone was excited they could run one bot at a time and use their computer while the bot worked.

Now, if the bot took control of your mouse like it used to, people would throw a fit. Back then, people were happy it just botted.

Now people are excited to be able to run 20 bots at once.

In a few years people will complain if they don't have 20 running at once.

tl;dr --- botting existed long before jacmob and has been "killed" several times and each time it has come back better than ever

No, he knows the RS client. Also I believe the only ones running any reflection or injection bots are private gold-farmers.

 

Jagex didn't need Jacmob for that, everyone thinks he's some sort of God, LOTS of people know about refelction/injection.
There are actually a handful of PRIVATE ones out and working as we speak, the only reason no more are being made/developed is because of legal issues. It's illegal to get hooks etc for those kinds of bots so Jagex has been threatening and suing the developers which is why it has stopped.

Many of the old java bots could be back today if they wanted, they just don't want to risk getting in legal trouble, which is smart of them.

 

How does this show how weak Jagex is, you want to end botting? Find the owner of a major botting company and have him work for you.

And I actually disagree with you; I would rather have Jagex be streightforward with us.

 

They couldn't just come back today, you think powerbot is delaying their update for legal issues? Do you know how the client works and what JaGeX have actually in the bot nuke?
