Revenant Drop Log + Misc. Goals [99 Prayer | 96 Herblore]

Good suggestion, thanks! I actually DO really need a new stats picture, as that one is pretty darn old. Its been almost a month since then and I have gained alot of herblore & dungeoneering levels (and even an accidental defence fail i know)

Thanks man Yeah I didn't kill them for ages, but they used to be hunted alot by clanmates in my previous clan and I was always curious about what exactly the Revs were.. I read up on how Jagex spread them throughout the wilderness after they removed the PVP aspect from it, and I thought the chance at quick wealth was just too good to pass up! So I decided to try it out myself, and after making a good 40-50M there I decided I wanted to make a log on Sythe and keep track of the drops.

I'm not sure how much I make per hour, and it may be difficult to keep track of the kills between monsters because it is just so random (like any luck based activity). Sometimes I've recieved 2 drops back to back in a row, and other times they are spread quite a few hours/days apart.

I CAN speculate on the fact that I do think Revs are more profitable than a number of other similar luck based activities or PVM activities, the reason being that their drop list is just so huge. If you look up the Revenant drops, they literally drop a good 50-60 different, unique items ranging anywhere from common statues and artifacts, to high end PVP weapons and Ancient Warriors armour, to brawlers gloves and regular dragon weapons and armour.

IMO it is well worth it to kill Revs for extra money, but I would not advise making them your primary source of income, as you could probably make just as much doing something more steady like Frost Dragons in the same amount of time.

 

Congrats on your VLS drop bro! I know how frustrating and boring revs can be, but when I see drops like yours, I want to log on and go kill some! But good luck on 99 Pray, 96 Herb, and 99 Dung!

And to Trolls - it is so random, it is way too hard to calculate the average drop. But I usually get atleast 1 item per trip, sometimes way more and sometimes I get nothing at all. But its not too bad... the key is persistence and motivation!

Thankyou, Zerker! I have had alot of questions about proper Revenant killing gear actually, so I might create a picture or a guide to show people the most effective way to kills Revs if they are interested in doing so.

And yes, over the past 2 months, literally 95% of my income has come from killing these things. I sold a few gamecards recently for some extra money, but in total so far I have made almost 150M from Rev drops. It has helped me buy alot of herb supplies but still have a very decent cashpile left over.

I haven't been updating this thread for a few days guys as I've been bored on RS and decided to do something new and fun, so I have been doing alot of PVM, collecting charms to get my summoning level up eventually. I have amassed 2k crimson charms in a few days so far, and I only need about 10-11k for 96 & a Yak! So that could very well be a goal that I add to this thread in the near future

Scroll down to the bottom of the main RS homepage where you see the little tiny icon of the English flag. Click that, and it gives you a few other flags of different countries as language options. Once you select one, it reloads the page in that language

I haven't worked on ANY of the goals in this thread the last few days as I have become totally obsessed with Slayer out of nowhere I was just bored and wanted to try training a skill that I never usually train, and so far I've been having a blast and trying to save up for a Slayer helmet.

I think I may add my Slayer and Summoning goals to this thread as I have been doing both quite a bit lately, and will definitely be working on both quite a bit more in the future.

It won't be long before I am dying to go back to Revs though so don't worry, I will have more drops soon
