So, the bots are back?

Just before the end of the year I had succescufully merched cockatrice eggs, buying them for 1000-1100 each and succescufully selling them for 1300-1450 each. I had a strong faith in that market would actually rejuvenate and that we might see realistical prices on items again, due to this.

Basically what I have now is 23k cockatrice eggs, wich won't even sell at the normal market price during the night(wich is how I made my money, since the demand was different times throughout the day and I tought to myself that becouse I realized this I was smart).

Now if you go and look at the G.E database you can see the bot eggs were 643 each right before the nuke. After that they rose to an "all-time high" of 1000 each. However, now their price is going down again. I except them to hit the same 643 mark soon, if not lower, as I presume making complicated bots is more difficult now, majority of them will just resort to the standard autoclicker.

The fact how it is so ridiculously easy it is to set a egg clicker/fletcher whatever and function at soul wars has seriously put me off now. I am thinking of quitting Runescape for good, becouse I've realized there is just no way to completely cut off bots for good *ever* for this game.

If they ever bring trade-limit back I just *MIGHT* come back but I doubt it will come back. I can't tell any good things that the trade-limit has done to me really. I have previously been an on-a-occasion player with my summoning tank, but now I just think I will quit the game for good becouse so many people are cheating.

Honestly, I don't think this one is due to bots.. as Australian said I also think this is just a fluctuation of the market prices. :/

Bot's will never be truly gone, they are like Rabbits , wipe em out back to 2 and they just breed up again.

 

Concidering I had like 11m~~ for starters and now I have like 18m.. I haven't lost a single penny in a literal sense, and this isn't certainly the first time im doing it. But there is nothing else that explain constant -30 gp DAILY price drops on cockatrice eggs than the fact that someone is mass-producing them.

Concidering people can't just make FDK bots anymore, majority of all gold farmers are likely resorting to easier methods such as autoclickers with cockatrice eggs/scroll of cleansing and such.

 

Bots are just something everyones going to learn how to deal with, bots will never truely be gone there will always be some.

 

Most likely just a bad merch. And bots have never left, you still have RiD, Scar, and Simba.

 

Sooner or later they return.
But i think theres none at the moment.

 

The markets are a lot more dynamic than just a high during night time/low during the day. There are lot more factors than just the amount of bots, and the artificial demand from the bot nuke didn't help anything. Don't quit the game because your merch ended up tanking, because it happens to the best of us. You fall only to learn how to get back up.

 

Well look at it this way. Cockatrice eggs were 643 GP right before the botting nuke on 21th day. After that they started rising and alebit there was slight fluctuation, they were 1000gp just a moment ago. Just go to GE and open the paragraph if you do not believe me. You just can't deny there isn't a connection with bots and the price of the cockatrice eggs.

 

lmfao so let me get this right. your gonna quite runescape because you though you'd be smart and stock up on cockatrice eggs before the nuke and now that your shit plan failed and you cant sell them your gonna cry about it and blame the bots.

maybe instead of crying about it sell em for what you can and fuckin move on with your life and remember,

and its not like you lost 10 bil on the merch you did, even if they did sell for 1ke thats only 23m, big deal, you can make that back in a few days if you actually knew how to make money

Well, other items have continued to fall even after the bot nuke. The DFS has fallen, for example. There are thousands of reasons that Cockatrice eggs could drop, including other merchanters dumping their own supplies. All I do know for sure is that there are no *free* working scripts that produce Cockatrice eggs. It's possible that a private script does this, but unless the owner uses dozens of accounts he would not influence the economy in this scale.

 

Bots never left.... There was always bots and will continue to be so, Yes the huge company's of bots have quit but there is on-going small ones like Simba/Scar

 

Yeah could be a private script , and you never know maybe its some guy with a bot farm, back in the day there where people running 100+ bots.
