Zerker with or without turmoil?

I'm currently making a zerker. Are they ok without turmoil, or do I have to get it to not get raped I'll be getting chaotics, korasi etc.
I just wanna know if turmoil is worth spending 100's of hours getting

 

Making a zerker without turmoil anymore is just asking to get raped and be made fun of unfortunately.

 

My current zerker is 60 att 97 str 99 mage 99 range 94 hp 52 prayer 45 def..

I've just recently come back to runescape and what i've experienced is that an account like mine will get KO's in wild but overall someone with turmoil has a much greater advantage over me. I faced someone with 60 att 87 str 95 prayer (he was the same cmb as me which is 92) and if we were to wear the same gear, max potted, etc. etc... and he had turmoil on, my max hit is always 100 less than his. Also put into play that because of turmoil he is more likely to hit and maybe because of my high str his turmoil gets a bigger boost.

so when i am fighting someone without turmoil its not really a big deal.. but when i do they have a larger advantage

Once you get over 100, you will run into turm a lot and a big disadvantage will be the soul split. You are better off getting it and getting 50 defence for it. Will be a huge advantage and opens up a lot more possibilites while pking.

 

why get 50 defence?

 

Technically speaking, a maxed 52 prayer zerk will be 106. At that level, you will be able to hit 445 as a maxed hit (with a c rapier).

Now, the combat levels that increase when prayer goes from 52-95 makes your account become lvl 112. If the combat levels were deducted from strength to still be 106 (so, 99 att, 83 str, 45 def, 99 hp, 95 prayer) you would only be able to hit 436). However, keep in mind they would hit more often.

So, let's say 90 att with turm is = to 99 att with regular prayers. Then the turm zerk can be 93 str, and hit 472's.

TBH, I don't think it is THAT big of difference; however, coupled with being able to hit about 30 more damage, plus having soul split, it is definitely an advantage.

***KEEP in mind that the turm % increase that I calculated was the FULL turm increase, I'm pretty sure the increase rises as the fight goes on, so in the beginning, the difference would actually be lower.

 

I think Soul Split is definitely worth the extra questing and combat levels gained from Prayer. Adding in a bit more strength bonus from Turmoil, and it's definitely worth it.

No they won't. They'll get me to just under 45

 

I'd definitely suggest getting Turmoil. You really will be at a disadvantage without it. The hours are worth it.

I had a nearly maxed zerker (80 atk 99 str 45 def 52 pray 99 range 99 mage 92 hp).

I would get wrecked by anyone that had turmoil even if they had worse stats than me.

It's almost unfair how much of an advantage they have over me. They're definitely more accurate and hit higher.

This was one of the reasons as to why I turned my zerker into a barrows pure.

It just got annoying after a while, so many people in that combat zone have turm, and without it, you're going to get pissed off more than anything.

I guess there must be other items to take into account apart from statistics. Keep in mind when you read my post that I haven't pk'd on my zerker in a while, and do not have experience with turm accounts.

If I got turm, I'd have to also get 46 def....... -.- (however, as a maxed zerk, if doesn't raise combat). Whatever.... I like the "neat" numbers.

 

Fact: 80-99-45, 52 prayer is more effective than
60-99-45, 95 prayer.

 

Almost all successful zerks have turm now. Im pretty sure youl get fucked if you fight one without turm.

 

im currently turning my pure into a turmoil pure, its alot of effort but most of the hard skills you can bot. its the quests that are a pain. Turmoil in my eyes is definetly worth it
