Why is Marijuana Illegal?

Marijuana is illegal because the government can't make any profit off of it. People know how to grow and sell marijuana effectively. Tobacco and Alcohol are almost impossible to privately farm/develop.

 

it would be to awkward and complicated to legalise in now due to all the people behind bars serving time and who have served time for selling/growing an illegal substance

 

it's illegal simply so the government can control it. along with the reasons "kill dank" said. any attempt at legalization would make it even worse because the government could then regulate it almost completely. the subject of marijuana legalization is similar to many other things that the government has manipulated to control..such as.. zero point energy, developed by tesla..or h2o powered vehicles.

 

Marry Jane is illegal because the government wants total control over the distribution of it for there own personal gain.

End of story.
