My Backpack got stolen this morning at School ^.^

Well, This morning basically I was just having a average morning waiting for my bus to depart me to other school..

In the mean time, I was talking to a few friends and my backpack was behind me on the table.. After a few 15 - 30 secs I look behind me and it was gone.


You are probably like.. who cares, it's just a back-pack..

However, I have a USB-Drive in there that I have bought several things from,
such as;
eBooks purchased from Sythe.
Passwords for: Paypal, Ebay, Steam Accs (Mw2, Mw3, BO, Portal 2, ) and tons of other games....

Also, Notes for School, Plans, Birthday Plans, Gaming Plans, and much more.



Really Sucks, Hate Scumbags who steal people stuff. Can't wait to get home, ruin my moms birthday telling her my $70 Backpack was stolen with all my schoolwork and expensive 32GB Flash-drive with important stuff on it...

Stupid People.

I reported it to my school, doubt they will do anything. Possibly, they will check the cameras, hopefully I was in a Blind spot. But my school has tons of secruity cameras, EVERYWHERE.


That's my Personal Issue.

 

Firstly, sorry to hear what happened to you, there are a lot of scum out there.

No.1 Just make sure you change all your passwords to all your accounts.

No.2 Ask friends, anyone you saw there and ask them if they saw anything.

No.3 Why not wait until tomorrow to tell your mum what happened?

 

They foundout who stole it and I'm getting it back in a hour.

Great to see you got it back. Are you going to press charges against the person?

 

If the school found out who stole it they will probly press charges. If you got it back yourself pressing charges would be a waste of time and money.

 

If it is going to ruin your mom's birthday don't tell her today. Whats the point? I'm sure theres nothing she can really do to get your backpack back.

 

Tell her tomorrow imo.

1. Ask your principal if they can view the cameras, tell them you had rich stuff.
2. Check lost and found next week.
3. TRACK your paypal account and such and see what activities are going on, maybe you can get ahold of the "thief" if there is one.
4. Somebody possibly could of grabbed it on accident.
5. Dont forget, the Sythe guides should be replaceable with the evidence that you purchased it.

 

Read the posts and you'll see that he says he got it back .

Like said above, I won't be pressing charges.
The excuse from the kid who took it "Thought it was his" ...
He has the same exact backpack, which is ironic. He did have the same backpack, so it was a misunderstaning.

Wow! That is an odd coincidence, but its great you got the bag back. How exactly did they find out who took it? Was it the camera footage afterall?

Also - let this be a lesson to keep a really close watch on your stuff in the future at all times. It really sucks to have to watch your own stuff like a hawk all the time, but unfortunately that is the world we live in.

 

Wow that's pretty strange, I don't think anyone in my school has the same backpack as me.

 

There are a couple of kids, but most kids at my school arent bad enough to take somebody's backpack. Especially an athlete's, that usually wouldnt end well.

and yeah, I know. Im ending up to put a USB IP Tracer now... now next time someone plugs my usb in, it sends their ip address to my email.

 

First of all, when I saw that you have your passwords and everything in a USB drive, I completely face palmed myself.

You shouldn't have placed any passwords in a flash drive or whatever, not even in a book, or even if you are PLANNING to put passwords in a book because you might simply forget, at least CODE it, as in create codes for yourself, mess it up a little with combinations and tricks up the sleeves, but make sure you know what you're writing down.

Second, change all of it. Every account you can remember that has the password on your USB.

Third, if bag was stolen IN SCHOOL campus, it shouldn't be hard to find who has stolen it. And if it was really 15-30 seconds like you have described, my first instinct would be to jump up, face in the direction where your bag was placed, and start a wide range search look around on the spot for anything that catches your eye. In most cases, the one who has stolen your bag will run, so you should be able to see someone running. And if you have any doubts whether if he's running or not, forget your friends you're talking to, and run in that direction. Get your bag back. No matter what.

Lastly, hopefully the security cameras would catch whoever has stolen it. And hope the visual quality is good too. Because my school, they have this really suckass visual quality, and it's really hard to even see the face.

 

First of all read the entire thread , including the the other posts before you come off trying to be a fucking wise guy .
Secondly , He clearly stated that he got the bag back , and that the kid only took it because it was identical to his , therefore the kid wouldn't be running like a maniac .

However, If you can remember over 50 - 80 passwords, you must be amazing!

I never put this in there; but.. the Passwords were in a TXT File. I was suppose to Rar it and put a Password on it. I forgot too, that night. And ironicly my bag got stolen the next morning. I didn't have enough time to rar the text in the next morning since I was late to school.

Worst came first, I was suppose to rar it in school. But IT got stolen before I got to my other school.

I already got my Backpack back, and please NO LONGER POST ON THIS IF YOU ARE GONNA BE AN ASSHOLE.

I would check the bins and toilets - that's the favorite spots for students to put stuff. This reminds me of my high school life lol, I remember people kept putting me into bins ... ARGGH Good memories.

 

Did you even read any of the thread? He already got it back and everything has been sorted out...
