Incredibly unique cover by a Toronto band

Check out this cover of a song called "Somebody That I Used To Know" by "Gotye", by a Toronto band called Walk Off The Earth.

I saw this on the news tonight, as apparantly it went viral overnight when actor Russell Crowe tweeted about this video he found on Youtube. Check it out:



Personally I <3 the chick's voice... actually I fucking love ALL their voices. Such a beautiful cover and beautiful song. I don't know about you guys :love:

Chrisarchie just favourited that first video this morning as it reached 10 million views in Youtube in just a matter of days.

 

Not really my style of music right now, damn rap stage heh... But yea I thought that guy with the long hair had a crazy voice! If this came up on the radio or pandora I wouldn't skip it, so yea!

 

Holy shit 10 million views in less than a week. Didn't it have like 4 million views yesterday? I don't see how anyone can't appreciate this group. They are very talented.

 

Yes, this is a classic case of overnight fame due to Youtube :laugh: I just heard about them on the news a few days ago because they released the video and a number of people viewed it, but apparantly once actor Russell Crowe tweeted about it, the video's views jumped in numbers by several million, and all the news stations started reporting the story.

It was only at 4 million or so views when I posted it, and then the next day I saw it on my Youtube feed as Chris Archie had favourited it. I clicked back and it was already at 10 million views. Today, it is at almost 14 million views!
