I'd just like everyone to be Safe while dealing with transactions, I've just lost all money, and profit gained through my sythe career, due to a Large line of charge backs. Please only sell to Trusted Byers via direct paypal, otherwise, use Player auctions. Don't get scammed. It sucks a lot. I might be getting more money, but my balance went from positive 2,000 to -400. So, Doubt it. Be safe out there guys, ALL SALES MADE WITHOUT TRACKING INFORMATION WILL BE CHARGED BACK 100% IF THE BUYER FEELS LIKE DOING SO. Paypal dose NOT care for deals without tracking information.

 

It's a very unfortunate reality when it comes to trading virtual goods, in fact trading anything on-line. I really hope you're able to get through this hard time, and have safer trading habits in the future.

Have you looked into any other payment methods? Most trusted members on Sythe prefer to use options such as Western Union, Moneypak, mail, playerauctions, etc. These options might make further trading for you much safer.

 

Im curious, how long ago were some of these transactions made?

 

PayPal is risky for larger trades. Sorry for your loss.

Sucks that you had a huge line of chargebacks. Were they from multiple people (10+)? Or did you just sell to one person? Also, are they still in dispute or has the other parties already won?

It was many people, almost everyone I've done deals with. It goes back as far as 40~ days. (You can create a chargeback within 45 days of purchase) and the Other party has won them all. They said themselves there is NO WAY for me to win a case in this sort. I'll be making a new paypal and putting some more starting money down, and see where I go, and I'll do all my trades through Player Auctions.

That is unbelievable! I am really sorry for your loss. I will never use PayPal.

 

Paypal is 100% safe IF YOU USE PLAYER AUCTIONS. Otherwise they can charge back, and if they do, they get the money 100% of the time. Called Paypal up and talked to them about it.

 

PayPal is a nightmare, I've lost £30 thanks to them so far. I'm more cautious about how I do trades now because of them.

yeah chargebacks are sooooooo annoying.

 

Almost everyone, yes. it wasn't all at the same time, but it was within a couple days of each other.

 

Dang . You must have dealt with a shady person/people. Are you going to file scam reports? Because I'd imagine you have a bunch to file...

 

Really sorry to hear that, I wouldn't ever use PayPal again.

 

Paypal said they don't deal with online merchandise.
