Bring Me The Horizon Pardon

Hello all, it's been a while.

I see many new staff members here so most may not recall; I was banned 2 years ago for scamming as a World Of Warcraft mod. I don't remember an exact amount but it was quite a few hundreds USD. I've admitted to committing this act many times; as a matter of fact I was banned quicker than I could have been because I admitted to it after much questioning.

What I did - I was running a donation service where people could send me Paypal and I'd send Sythe USD in the mail after I withdrew the paypal money to my bank account and into my pocket. This worked out well and the staff knew of it. I only had sent maybe two donations for people before I started to generate a lot more money than I had expected. Realizing I had a lot, I started buying clothing, electronics and other personal items and telling myself "I have a real life job, I can just make up for it with that". Getting too wrapped up with owing money, I started to lie to people saying "I sent the money to Sythe, your donation must not have gotten to him yet". I knew this wouldn't work out and I was in much debt until one day I called Finn on skype and told him what was up. I was immediately banned by the one who I looked up to and cared about so much. My reason for banning is even "Uncry these tears and shun these lies so that you may comeback" or something along those lines because I knew I had hurt Finn so much.

A few days later, Finn & Spyike had approached me and had a request for me. They ask if I would pay back all the people I owed with money that Spyike would send me and then I could just owe Spyike over time. I agreed and then began the process. I sent back the money to EVERYONE I owed (I've closed that bank account & paypal BUT Finn knows that I've paid those people back, he wouldn't lie). It turned out though, Finn never unbanned me and apparently he never had any intentions to. (Not that I blame him, the community would be upset to see a scammer free).

Since then I haven't done anything wrong; but haven't done much good either. (money-wise). I've kept my nose out of such situations. (Besides buying some RS gold). I'm still a member of Powerbot where I've bought over 200M in just the past few months, all deals worked out as you can see on my feedback page on my profile there:



Now for the reason I'm back -I'd like a community to call home once more. I'm not interested in any market; As a matter of fact I don't care if i'm banned from all markets all together. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a good person deep down with a bad past. I've always gotten along with everyone and always will. I'm still in contact with the old "skype crew" including Gohan, wizard, justin, christian & even Finn.

Furthermore -

I'm going to be 20 in a couple weeks. Maturity doesn't shine through age but through character; and I'd like a chance to prove that I'm a normal human being with no insidious agenda. I've been through a lot in the past few years, it's really shown who my good friends are and those who weren't as good as I had envisioned. I've had my ups and downs and now I'm working part time and attending college full time. I'm starting to embrace life more & more but I can't cast down my nostalgic feelings of Sythe.org. I'd like to meet up with old friends, make new ones and most of all, have the approval of a second chance.

If the pardon is rejected I'll be gone and you won't have to hear about me again. I've never ban-evaded but If i'm rejected now than I can't see a reason why I'd be accepted in the future.

After repaying everyone that you scammed, did you fully repay Spyike?

 

Well, I can confirm that I was refunded by BMTH - just checked back into my PayPal history. However, I wasn't refunded by Spyike... just got a PayPal refund from Mr. Rago.

BMTH claims that he has paid back Spyike in full (over time).

 

Based on the pardon alone, Supporting a vote.. but considering the offence, I think we'd have to have the support of Matthew or Sythe.

 

I personally support a vote but id like to be sure everyone is paid back first.

 

I am not sure if this still holds, but you were a moderator while you scammed on this website. Sythe (the owner) does not allow staff members who scammed back on this website (reference). Still, I'll leave this open as that post was made more than a year ago.

Rethought this, I don't support. What you did was a complete abuse of power that has left stains. There is no place for people like you here.

Moderators who are trusted with power who take advantage of said power to scam have no place here. Not then, not now, and not in 10 years. You were trusted to handle financials for the website and you failed miserably, which I am personally offended by.

Don't come back.
