Maybe the man who got the 15 year sentencing had a prior record, and this last incident meant he had a harsh sentencing.

Ok this is weird was the judge talking clearly? Maybe the people in court heard him saying fifteen years but maybe he said fifth [stroke] years and maybe he should be prisoned to 5 years. But the funny part is that the guy stole $100 he was prisoned for 15 years and the Ex-Ceo stole $3 Billion was sentenced to 40 months. Well this need to be put on National television or other else on every News Station and discussing will be lifted on the subject

To me, it doesn't matter if it's $100 or $3b. The punishment should be the same. They are both acts of stealing, and both should be treated as such.

Its all a matter of who has the money. Money and greed rule the world. Also i think racism has a part in this case. If they lock up a homeless man it will bring more benefit to the state. For example, one more helping hand for community service also a lot of other variables that help the state. But the state and the Judge/jury play a big part on this also. Still its completely wrong.

 

Money is power.

 

So a homeless person stealing $100 gets 15 years in prison. However someone who stole 3,000,000 X as much (is that right?) gets let out after 40 months for one of the biggest frauds in US history. We may think of this as bad, and I do, but think of it from his view, $3b fraud and goes with minimal consequences.
