Big ambitions, small impact.

STILL IN THE PROCESS OF UPDATING!




Okay. Let me clear things up here.
I may sound like a fan boy and what not.

Background:
I'm currently starting up in java,web and design. I've been working indirectly with web platforms over years but never really written big pieces of code. I'm also starting to develop my own website and forum. They will be released soon. I have been playing Runescape since 02. I can confirm this in game. I have been cheating in Runescape every since I could remember. So I always found myself using my hour a week on research to ease the game and reap the rwards the easy way. I never had enough time to play until holidays. I have NEVER been banned for botting, I've only racked up a few black marks for asking "where someone was" and no I'm defiantly not a pedophile.


My ambition:
to manage/assist in making a macro. I won't say bot because it's not really going to be advanced. We could develop it deeper but lets not get carried away.
So my idea is to make a scriptable "slightly" advanced autoclicker that loads Runescape and is minimizable.

When I say autoclicker I want the "macro" to start off running basic inventory tasks. Such as alching or cleaning herbs in the soul wars banks. I want to make it scriptable and non centralized. The strength of the script will mainly depend on the script writer. This takes the stress of developers and it won't be hard to code, I mean were only aiming to start off with scripts that rune within the bank of soul wars.
It will be NOTHING near the complexity of Rsbot/Rsbuddy or NeXus. It could possibly score a bit below Rid as they use similar but slightly more advanced code and methods. Trust me I saw leaked code of Rid. Let's just say its messy.

I'm thinking of starting with basic loops of actions with the addiction of the macro simply reading the script. The macro will be far from intelligent but perhaps we could integrate calculations to give a more human experience and choose methods.
Then possibly introduce colours or shape aim.

tl;dr
A runescape loader that can read scripts and execute them. It will run off extremely specific and one way scripts. Any fails in the macro will not be picked up.
It will be a tiny bit better than ghost mouse as you can script it what to do and encode pixel offsets and more.



My ideas:
develop ways for the bot to check where it is and install fail safes.
Were the bot clicks can be customized for random offsets providing in the end after repeating the action to complete it properly




So reading all this your starting to wonder how will this affect you?

Now don't get too excited, this macro is trying nothing new. It's extremely basic but completing it would expand my knowledge and perhaps even yours!

By the way please don't say it won't be worth it. I'm doing greatly for the experience and coding knowledge gained. I don't even play runescape
anymore.

I don't play runescape if you didn't read.
I want this for knowledge and the feeling of making a simple Macro that can be customized. But thanks for the feedback. It's probably a wise idea to code with scar and simba.

I think that would be a great idea for personal practice (if thats what your going after), and once you can do that, maybe you can learn opencv and you might just beable to start off making a bot client!
