Should i start playing Runescape again?

I started playing Runescape 4-5 years ago and i had a lvl 110 but he got hacked and the hacker changed the password and what not, now i am bored and i haven't played since the wild came back into place but can someone tell me what they have majorly updated (added, updated) because i might buy an account or just start from scratch, i need some opinions!

Wellllll, the game has gone shit, if you start over and play for nostalgic reasons, we can all understand that... the economy has gone litterally into the shitter, everyone scams, and for the people reading this post thinking "derp i dont scam" you do. so stfu, Seriously, about 90% of the people ive come into contact on rs scams I wouldnt suggest playing again, go play a real mmo like WoW. if you're going to invest in the price of an account, Id just pay 15 doll hairs for a month of wow and start playing, see if you like it, runescape got shit.

 

ive played WoW after runescape but i got bored of WoW, what other games are there that are really fun?

Runescape is awesome now, don't listen to everyone else. There's alot more to do, more players online, etc.

If you're talking in terms of ACTUAL people (nonbots) Yeah, there are more people to interact with, but as i stated above 90% of the people you come in contact with are scammers.

 

What is there to do? i used to get SO bored of doing the same thing on runescape

 

Tbh, the same thing you could do a year or so ago. It's the same game with graphics slightly changed.. The only way to keep from being bored is to be rich, being rich can only come from a few things, the easiest of which are staking (yeah you should probably be maxxed if you wanna try that) and bossing (really good idea if you have like 3-5 friends to go with you)

 

well i only got a lvl 78 that has NOTHING on there and my mates dont play anymore :/

 

You took the words out of my mouth, economy has gone into te worst shit that has ever been made, when I had 70m 3 years ago I cried out of joy, now I can loose 20m in dicing without caring. Botting ruined the game 4 years ago I got my pure into maxed ac legit but now lol I can't even do 1-10 cook legit without being bored to death

Not sure if this has already been said, but try to recover your account? Anyway, economy has changed alot, 100k used to be quite alot, now 2b+ is semi-poor to some people.

 

yeah i remember when 1 mil to me was rich now i see people complaining about being poor and i see there bank and they have 20mil + and ive tried and been declined 3 times so no point

 

Yeah, and break runescape even more. Good idea. It's better now without the bots though, which is saying alot given that they ruled the game for acouple of years.

 

yeah but i loved the old runescape, i remember when i went with my mates and killed noobs in the wild, now it just looks like it went down the shit hole and is it easier/harder to lvl up?
