Compromised Yahoo Account.

I have a Yahoo account and it's starting to send emails to everyone on my contacts list. Is this a virus? If so any recommendations on what software could detect this?

 

Clear out your computer run a virus scan. If that does not solve the problem email yahoo or delete your account.

 

Change your yahoo password. Usually it's just some bot that has your information. Remember when people would get that shit on Myspace a looooong time ago? The person that makes them is usually too dumb to change the password on the account. So you still have access to it, but they're just bullshitting you...


tl;dr, Changeing your password should solve the problem. If not, do what noob killer said.

 

Contact Yahoo support, scan your computer, change password and add recovery questions if they are not added or change them if you think they are compromised.
