Should I try weed?

Been a stoner for seven years and still am a senior in high school, being accepted into American Mensa and ranking #1 in my class while being top manager of my store.

Don't listen to any propagandist bullshit such as it'll make you dumber etc. Listen to me from someone who does it routinely.

When you smoke (a typical high for me lasts 1 1/2 hours - 3), you feel absolutely amazing. Since it's your first time, you may not feel it (i didn't, and I smoked Wyclef Kush lmao). The second time will hit you hard as fuck, though. You don't see extreme visuals like some people claim. Yes, some things may be wavy and hard to focus on, but I use marijuana as a means to relax and think (and, sleep at night. preapproved for a medical card).

If your only basis to try it to get socially accepted, don't. However, if you're curious just to try it, go for it. It WON'T hurt you at all in the long run. Marijuana isn't a drug. It's a herbal remedy/medicine. Marijuana is an EXCELLENT substance to be social on, etc. You'll find that music/art/video gaming is SO much more enjoyable (I find it relaxing to train skills while high. Makes it so much easier)

People claim that you'll get lazy and not want to do anything. I find this true, but ONLY when you start coming down from your high (which lasts only about an hour or so). And this only happens if you smoke an Indica strain. And if you smoke an Indica, chances are you'll pass out after your high is over (Making it an excellent night time strain).

If I were you I'd try any of the Sativa strains. They're PERFECT for day time smoking and you will not experience couch-lock, etc

So there's my two cents. It hasn't damaged my life once.

It's illegal, and get caught. Ruin your life permanently.
Not only you'll have records your parents won't look at you the same.

 

depends on how easily u give into peer pressure...weed can easily be a gateway drug into heavier shit if ur not careful. what if u like it? will u start smoking all the time? do u have good income to support a habit like that? will u only smoke a few times a month? it really depends on how ull use it.

as far as my personal opinion...i was against weed for my entire life...all my friends smoked too, and i finally decided to try it over the summer. we bought really REALLY good expensive shit so my 1st experience was probably better than most but overall its a good feeling but its very likely ull either 1 not get high the 1st time u try it, or 2 u will get high and u wont do ANYTHING for the duration of the buzz. i enjoyed it, but i would never do it all the time, and havent yet since that day...but im 23 and i have a real job and responsibilities and i dont let things like that take over my life, which is probably why it hasnt happened since.

 

it wouldnt ruin his life, a small enough amount would only be a citation, or depending on the area he lives in some cops will just confiscate it and let him go...he wont be carrying pounds around with him

 

If you're going to do it, don't do it out of conformity reasons at least.

 

Do NOT try weed because of other people. Try it because YOU WANT TO TRY IT.

Trust me. I've smoked a LOT of weed. The first time you get high, you are fucking gone man. It hits you like a sack of bricks the first time; it's awesome.

Try weed - YES.

I wouldn't recommend smoking it often however. Speaking for myself, weed has turned me very lazy and made me unmotivated to do a lot of shit.

I know people consider weed "the miracle plant in which only good comes out and nothing bad!" but this is not true, for me at least. It's honestly wrecked my social life and put me in bad terms for school.

All in self-control man. Weed is AMAZING but don't do it very often.

That's false, recent studies show that depending on the person and they way their body decomposes things you can have a THC buildup in your body fat. Now most people this just remains but there's been a few cases where it's released into their body and they can sometimes go crazy for a couple days.

 

I am completely against smoking in general, but my attitude is if you are going to then be like this guy. ^^

I knew a guy in high school that smoked his junior and senior year and loved it, but still worked two jobs and payed for all his own stuff(car, insurance, phone, gas) and everything. I didn't agree with what he did, but I did admire how he handled everything. This guys seems the same way. Don't EVER be pressured into into anything you don't want to do. If you want to then go for it. It is a personal choice.

I'm curious on this, my first time I got high I was really giggly and drinking. But now it just makes me chill and happy lately. I'm very interested how this is gonna go for him if it'll be "it didn't do anything" or "I was so baked"

Well I tried it with two of my best friends. It was pretty fun and I've never laughed so much in my life. But I don't think I felt the full effects of what it can do.

 

Lol the first few times I got high were the exact same... got so stoned and found every little thing so damn funny. It usually takes a few sessions until you get really high from weed though.. I smoked joints a few times and got mildly high (but didn't realize it), and then next I tried taking a few rips off of a bong and THEN I knew what it was like to be blitzed lol.
