Script/Software Sales Market section?

After some discussion with people below, this is the suggestion in a nutshell:

1. Change "Guide & eBook Sales" Market section to "Guide, eBook & Software Sales"
2. Add "Software Sales" and "Verified Software Sales" Sub-Forums under "Guide, eBook & Software Sales"

Reasons: There is no proper place for software and script sales to take place on Sythe. Adding the sub-forum would also increase interest in scripting and programming. Several people have already shown interest in selling their programming efforts in a proper forum section where they would get the exposure they need.

This came to my mind when trying to figure out the proper place to post the sales thread of a little RS related program I wanted to sell.

My idea is that it would be a separate section of the Market.
All programs/scripts/software would have to be officially verified before it's allowed to be sold.

This could be ideal for having things such as private Simba or other scripts, analytical programs, code snippets and other RS related programming work all in one place.

Could also have a free software sub-section?

Maybe doesn't even have to be specifically RS related?

What do you guys think?

 

This sounds like a good idea to me at first. Govind's autoclicker has seemed pretty out of place in RS cheating. However, I'm not sure if there would be enough activity to justify a section. Aside from Govind's I haven't seen anyone really looking to sell anything.

I don't really have an interest in making a thread for mine before someone asks.

 

I would support it as a subsection of something else to reduce clutter.

Support, it would probably spark the discussions in the programming sections. Plus it would be great to have a place on Sythe to sell scripts.

There could be an unverified section and a verified.

 

I kinda want to support this but people are probably gonna try to sell their autoclickers that they made in 5 mins in vb.net.

 

I don't think a whole section is needed, perhaps a sub if people really want. Sythe has worked fine without it and will continue to. :noworry:

 

Yea I mean it could be a sub of RS Market section, but I didn't want to limit it to RS related software...

Yeah that would work, but I think that putting the guides and software on top of each other wouldn't be good. As a subsection of a new Guide, Ebook & software sales section, I would support.

Support, it seems alot of people are starting to make auto clickers, recorders, ect. it would reduce alot of clutter in RS cheating.

I agree with this. I'm personally looking for someone that could make me a personal script in the future and this could be a nice addition to the market.

But all scripts MUST be verified by a moderator with the needed knowledge to avoid keyloggers, rats, etc.
