Runescape video making

How many of you guys mess around in your free time and make RS vids, whether they be skill guides, funny vids, PK montages or whatever?

Video making is something that I've always thought would be cool but have never given a shot before. I'm wondering if any of you guys know any good programs (preferably free) for filming/editing etc?

Camtasia is pretty good, I've tryed but I got too lazy editing and all.

 

Camtasia is good, but for Mac, u gotta pay like 20 bucks for it. Hyper cam sucks but it's free.

 

Is Camtasia free to download? and does it come with all the editing tools within the program itself?

I don't completely understand how video making works, but it must be fairly easy as tons and tons of people make RS videos these days.

 

Hypercam=free
Fraps=you got to buy
Camtasia= you go to buy it

Editing films programs.
Windows movie maker= free with a pc
Sony vegas pro= you have to buy it.

 

I am very into video making my programs are as follows: Fraps (paid version), Sony Vegas 10 (editing program) and cinema 4D for 3D text etc.

However all of this would of come to around 3000 dollars if you bought it legitimately.

I didn't realize you made vids What kind do you usually make?

It sounds like you have more higher end programs that are a bit too pricey for me, but thanks for the info I highly doubt I would ever get really, really serious about video making, I just thought it might be cool to film some PK clips and some other shit that I like doing on RS.

 

You can probably find someone on here in the market section that'll sell them cheaper . . . ? Just my 2 cents .

 

you could use windows movie maker(that crashes for me idk why) and id probs reccomend http://camstudio.org/ for recording

 

Well you don't have to start out big try using sony vegas I highly reccomend you using it with hypercam/fraps (fraps is like 20-30$). Then if you get a bigger fan base then progress on buying the big item things and if you plan on commentating then get a snowball mic.(Like 50-90$)

 

I recently downloaded the Serif MoviePlus Starter Edition, link - http://www.serif.com/FreeDownloads/ - they've got other free programs too. If not, Windows Movie Maker for editing and I'm guessing hypercam for videoing?
