Dota 2

Dota 2 will be released soon and I have the feeling , its going to be one of those games to get hyped on about. Once Dota 2 is released , Im suggesting there should be a Dota 2 area just like LoL or combine Dota 2 , LoL and Hon in their own area.

Seeing as how Dota 2 is not released yet theres no logical reason to make a subforum for it yet, in my opinion.

Theres already a few of sythers that have attained Dota 2 beta keys. I see why not make one for all three LoL , Hon And Dota 2 in one section with there only little market seeing how theres people selling Dota keys if you lurk around the market forum.

It's a future suggestion tho.

 

As I stated in the suggestion for the HoN section, Before the LoL section was created, I mentioned that we should make a section that encompassed HoN, LoL and DoTA. This idea was shot down. Maybe once DoTA is released and it becomes more popular there may be a change, but for now it's not going to happen I'm pretty sure.

 

Yes i also have dota 2 beta and its awsome! But it is too early to create a section of it yet. ppl will just spam in it!

No support, unless it gets really popular and there's a lot of support for it, I don't think I'd ever consider it. I mean, looks at Minecraft and LoL.

 

It's the most popular thing in the other games market.

It outshines LoL in every manner.

I support changing the LoL section to LoL,DotA,and HoN section. All you would have to do is change the titles of the sections, and it wouldn't add more clutter

 

Seeing as how it says 'coming in 2011' and it's 2012 now. Plus you know what Valve are like when they announce a new game. No support.

 

If this was going to pass, I think this would be more reasonable, and might even improve activity in that section.

 

I believe we should wait to see if there is a significant amount of Dota discussion before a new sub-forum is created.

Dota 2 is way more popular all around over LoL, it always has been and I proved it on a thread I made when LoL section came out.

There is absolutely NO reason not to add Dota2/HoN to the LoL section and just make it a MOBA section. If this get's denied it's just ridiculous.

The staff are biased towards the games because they enjoy LoL, and do not enjoy Dota or just haven't ever played it.

LoL was considered active when there was 2 threads about it in the other games section, meanwhile there was 4 dota ones beside it.

 

I never supported a LoL section to begin with, but I don't think four threads classifies it as "active." I'd rather just have it turned into a MOBA section, maybe then we'll have some moderate activity.

 

I agree with you, and that's why I was pissed that LoL got a section - there was barely ANY discussion going on about it. Yet when people bring up the other two games, they aren't ever active enough.

Anyways yea, support it being a MOBA section.

 

I have Dota beta, but I doubt I'd use one.

 

We've not had an overwhelming niche of DotA 1 players, I don't foresee an influx of DotA 2 players. Thus far, with the game released via invite only, we've got virtually no trades being conducted. Therefore, denied.
