Sythe Texas Hold'em Tournament!

I think just like the Connect 4 and Chess tournaments, we need a Texas Hold'em tourny! Just like before, there will be X amount of players that can play. There will be a prize pool. etc.

There was a thread about this that gained a lot of support, it came time to collect, some paid up, most people couldn't be reached, and it fell through. Poker is a different beast from these other games in that you need to get multiple people online at the same time to play a game. No one wants to play 4 rounds of heads-up poker apparently, although I think that's really the only way this would work

 

This is why you have the Prize Pool be Donated GP that people put in. No entry fees. The people would just have to be committed to being online.

I've wanted to do this in the past, but it's just too impractical to run.

 

There are many laws about gambling that should be taken into consideration

 

Betting with RSGP should circumvent all those laws. Alternatively we all "donate" a set amount to sythe, and that amount gets paid out in a prize pool

 

I'd play if it was for cash instead of RSGP.

 

You can make it if you want, it's just that it would be unofficial, I'm not sure on why this is a suggestion, would you like it to be official?

 

This ^ I never really understand why people make suggestions about contests, there is no rule against making one yourself. If you want it, make it happen.

 

I want it to be an official tournament.

 

Just PM a mod and tell them that you want to do it.
