How to hide IP address in runescape?

Hello Everyone!
I was thinking to open free questing service to gain more trust and stuff.
So the problem is that I want my ip to be hidden for personal reasons. Anyone know how can I get my name as last login instead of my ip adddress....

Yes, be sure to use Adblock with it though. Going to get annoying otherwise.

 

A VPN is your best bet. There are many good cheap high quality ones someone would recommend to you. The only good one I know is OverPlay, but I don't use it much and I'm pretty sure there's a better one.

 

Let say if I sue hotspot shield. What will the last login in runescape will show?

 

hotspot shield use to work and was legit, but stopped working after a while, if it still works then it should be good.

But I think jagex is trying to patch vpns.

The ip adress of the Proxy / VPN server you used.

They can't really link you to it.

 

I have cyberghost, though it's a paid VPN.

I remember buying questing off a site I think and in the last login came up as their site name, how does that work? Maybe you could do something like that.

I understand your situation, can you explain to me what happens when they have your ip? Like a ddos? How does this happen? I'm from Japan, doubt they could do something offshore... or can they?

 

JaGeX won't ban for using a VPN that's utter bullshit. Many people require VPN's to play so banning them would only hurt JaGeX itself.

 

Lets say if i dont use anything. I will just normally do it on my IP.
Is there a chance of getting on DDOS? And btw I am on a Mac.

 

Why in the world would somebody waste their time DDOSing you for no reason?
