Everybody lies. It may only be “white” lies, but everyone tells lies or “omits the truth” sometimes. We start lying at around age 4 to 5 when children gain an awareness of the use and power of language. This first lying is not malicious, but rather to find out, or test, what can manipulated in a child’s environment. Eventually children begin to use lying to get out of trouble or get something they want. White lies, those concocted to protect someone’s feelings, are not a big deal at all. The person, however, who seems to feel compelled to lie about both the small and large stuff has a problem. We often call these folks pathological liars (which is a description, not a diagnosis). They lie to protect themselves, look good, gain financially or socially and avoid punishment. These people may have a diagnosis called antisocial personality disorder, also known as being a sociopath, and often get into scrapes with the law. Lying often gets worse with the passage of time. When you get away with a lie it often impels you to continue your deceptions. Also, liars often find themselves perpetrating more untruths to cover themselves. We hold different people to different standards when it comes to telling the truth. We expect, for example, less honesty from politicians than from scientists. We have a vision of purity about those who are doing research, while we imagine that politicians will at least shade the truth about themselves in order to get elected. Why do we dislike liars, especially sociopaths, so much? It’s a matter of trust. When a person lies, they have broken a bond – an unspoken agreement to treat others as we would like to be treated. Serious deception often makes it impossible for us to trust another person again. Because the issue of trust is on the line, coming clean about the lie as soon as possible is the best way to mend fences. If the truth only comes out once it is forced, repair of trust is far less likely. As a parent, the most important message you can send your children about lying is that you always — always — want them to come clean with you. No matter how big a whopper they have told, remind them that you would always rather hear the truth, no matter how bad it is, than be deceived. Tell them there is really nothing more sacred in your relationship than your trust of each other. Of course, all this presupposes that we have discovered an untruth — some people are so expert at deception that it often takes a long time to find out that we have been lied to.How, then, can we best detect whether we are being misled? There is no foolproof way, but there are often clues you can see in behavior that should make you suspicious:Avoidance of eye contact: Usually someone makes eye contact at least half the time they are talking to you. If you notice them avoiding eye contact or looking down during a specific part of a conversation, they may well be lying.Change of voice: A variation in pitch of voice or rate of speech can be a sign of lying. So can lots of umms and ahhs.Body language. Turning your body away, covering your face or mouth, a lot of fidgeting of hands or legs can indicate deception.Contradicting yourself:. Making statements that just don’t hold together should make you suspicious. It really doesnt I read all of it. Its all about why people lie, How the lie, and How to tell if someone is lying. Quite honestly im kinda wondering why a legit Sythe Vet. from 07 would post somthing like this in the wrong section with a absurd thread title for no apparent reason? To do this he must have a pretty good reason

Im tired of all the bullshit on sythe. Kerokerocola is a lier and i want him 2 read why. Ive posted it in more sections then just this.

 

I've dealt with kero on several trades. I've sold him most of his accounts back for profit. He always seemed like a good guy. I told him i need my money back because it wasnt mine 2 spend and for him 2 take the account back. He always told me if i needed to sell back an account i could. Now he's telling me he cant afford $200. Basically told me to fuck off or im banned. I could give a fuck less if im banned. Kerokerocola needs 2 be put down for lieing. Ive tried calling him and everything he wont answer. he told me he would talk 2 my dad but now he's saying hes not giving his phone nmber out 2 anyone. he's a cunt guys dont deal with him.

 

Try make a proper layout for your story. might be worth reading then.

Ouch :/ I hate to see you do this just to get yourself banned but I guess if you feel this strongly about something then you will do what you want to do. If I were you I would have just quit sythe instead of trying to get banned though. I mean come on Mods don't stay Mods forever that's why the have the Ex Mod rank someday he wont be a Mod and Might not even be on sythe and you could come back then and still have your account and be a Veteran instead of having to Ban Evade, I mean really think this one through, im just trying to help you out from making what I personally think is a bad decision but that's just me.

Then look you need to put THIS on your main post and delete the other threads and just make the title somthing like "Exposing Kero" or "Why Kero Why?" or "You Lied To Me"

Think logicaly about this and do this in the right way the way you are doing it doesnt help or solve anything, now quote what you just typed and told me and put it FIRST on your main post so people can read WHY you wrote all of that, otherwise they wont read anything, overlook it all, and just post some random bullshit because they see this as a chance to get free post count...

 

Thanks man. Its good to see there are still some good sythe members on this site. I know i went at it the wrong way but ive been pming kerokerocola for the past 3 days and im just so heated now. Sorry if anyone is confused or doesnt get why i posted it here. I quit runescape and i really have no reason 2 be here anymore. just wanted 2 let everyone know that kerokerocola doesnt hold on to his promises.

But yeah just go to the other threads you posted and delete them and make this one the only one and put that quote i told you to put at the top of it, then your message will get out there, you prolly wont be banned and with the right amount of heat on kero from this thread he might give you your stuff back. I think it is wrong how he is doing you but if you want the Right thing to happen then you have to go about it in the Right way. Get what im saying? Theres no point in a good sythe vet such as yourself getting banned over some non sense when it can all be worked out and solved in a correct and proper manner. So do what i told ya delete the other threads you posted, Keep this one only and the quote explaining why you posted this, Take it and put it at the top of this thread in the main post so people will read that quote first and see why you posted this and not get the wrong idea. Also go about it in a way of going over his head, talk to some other mods some globals for example and tell them what kero has done to you. I think kero owes you some kind of a explanation or if you have to m8 just take the account he sold you and re sell it and get your $200 back or as close to it as you can. Dont do something stupid and get banned then you are 1- Out of your $200 2- years of work is gone down the drain and 3- you wont be able to sell your account to make any of the lost money back. So just take my advice and dont get banned and do this the right way.
