Iphone 4s!!

Hi guys i'm thinking about buying the iPhone 4s but i don't know if its really worth it since its pretty expensive. So for all iPhone 4s owners, was it worth the money?

 

Iphones are overpriced, don't get it unless your a real fashion noob. For the price of an iphone, I could get a good HTC phone and a 32GB ipod touch.

 

It's worth the money, I love almost everything about my iPhone. I just sold my HTC Evo 3D and 32GB iPod Touch and got around ~$450 and my iPhone (32GB) was only $300.

 

They're overpriced for the few added specifications on the Iphone 4s, I'd recommend getting a iPhone 4 instead, same thing basically.

 

Might as well wait for the iPhone 8.

 

Id wait for the next iphone, 4S has too little changes for my liking

 

iOS 5 is fucking spectacular. I doubt it, HTC is also incredibly expensive. Honestly the price of the phone is a pittance compared to the service plan...

Not really. 4s is much faster. Better camera. Its always nice to have the most recent version of the phone.

You can always trade in the 4s and buy the iPhone 5....

 

I like the 4S, especially the memory. even though I filled 50gb of it at one point :3

Go with the Galaxy Nexus. Specs kill those of the Iphone 4s and it is currently running Android's new ice cream sandwhich.

Dont get a iPhone 4S unless you live in the US. Cause half of Siri wont even work, and apart from ram/processor thats the only difference between 4 and 4s.

 

I got the Iphone 4s, Its my first iphone, I use to have a casio gz1 which was waterproof/ indestructible, but after my life got a little more complicated i went for a smart phone. but my god siri is awesome, it's so easy setting reminders, making meetings, texting people quickly, schedule things, looking up things with an accurate answer. The Camera in the iphone 4s is amazing, it looks very good even on a 50inch hd tv. the GPS feature is pretty nifty too.

 

I got mine for $200, a decent price. I wouldn't have paid any more for it though, so if you can't get it for Upgrade price, don't buy it.

 

I assume you already have the iphone 4, which means 4s is completely and utterly useless. About 30% of the people that bought the 4s on release day had iphone 4's with no problems. All apple does is add a letter at the end and gets several hundred million in sales. I'm not hating on apple, but I would recommend an android phone at an upgrade price, not just buying a 4s for 500$. Even if you dont have an Iphone of any kind, I wouldn't recommend the 4s Spend you're money on something more worthwhile than a phone.
Today, phone companies design their phones to look like they will last, but break a few months before your contract expires, trying to get you to buy a new phone at full price. Does anyone remember the old motorola razor? I consider that the only phone that wasn't made to be broken in a few years, I had my Razor for 5 years, then i got a slide out keyboard phone that broke in one year. Apple products are no different to everything out there, they are made to break. Smartphones are cool, but not practical for their price and how long they last unless you get it at an upgrade price.

i have an iphone 4, 4s came out about 2months after i got mine. worth every penny.

im on 4.3.3 jailbroken is it worth updating and jailbreaking to 5 iOS?

 

if you have an iphone and your upgrading to iphone 4s. dont do it. if you dont have a iphone then get the 4s. otherwise wait for the iphone 5. Iphone IOS5 is beautiful. I love every second of my iphone and I used to be a big andriod guide but i've learned they never last. They are good at first but die overtime

 

I've got an iPhone 4, and I've fiddled with an iPhone 4S, and personally, I don't feel you need the extra performance, at least yet. Other than that it's got Siri, which seems pretty neat but most people I know that have one stopped using it after a couple of weeks.

Go for it if you wanna be really in fashion and you enjoy the iPhones interface, go for it. If you want performance, I'd go for a Galaxy S 2 or Samsung Galaxy. If you really do want to have an iPhone, decide on whether it's worth waiting the next 6 or so months for a phone which is probably going to have a load of new features, or get the 4S now.

 

At the moment, personally, I would jump for the Nexus. It's fresh off the press, ICS, the works. It really shows the iphone, until they release the 5 of course.
