    So i just bought a new coffee maker, wondering what i need to do before i start making coffee, someone told me i need to run water through it a few times, anyone know?

    I just plugged it in and started it. I don't really know what the harm in that is, nor do I care. If you're really worried, just run water through it a few times until you're happy.

    There was no manual, but i looked it up on google and just ran water through it like 3 times, i guess it helps get rid of the new metallic taste it sometimes has.

    Just run water trough it a couple times and it should be ready to go. Also make sure you run water trough every remove able part.
