AI? Seems fake to me already, considering it's up the scripter how much "AI" is in their script.

It's false advertising on their part, imo. It's up to the scripter in the end. The script itself needs to implement some kind of learning feature (nearly impossible). Making decisions based of a few options isn't exactly AI. Anyway, good luck if your client is what you say it is.
