Last chance for a membership discount.

Today is the last day of the 33% discount offer on 6 months of RS membership.

Other than to remind everyone, I made this thread because I need help figuring out how I can get in on this. The offer only applies to paypal and credit card purchases, but I don't have a credit card and my paypal account only has €7 balance left. Adding funds through a bank transfer is not an option as that would take days.

I've used an entropay virtual cc to pay for my membership in the past, but they are having difficulties with their payment processor. As a result, I can't instantly fund my account using my maestro card. Again, a bank transfer is not an option.

What options do I have left if I want to get the discount today?

 

It appears as though you only have 7 euros. Where else do you have money online?

 

I also have €4 left on my entropay card, but that still doesn't cover it.

I've contacted entropay's customer support and all they had to say is that their payment processor is causing the difficulties and that they can't do anything about it.

 

Get someone to purchase it for you by paying them RSGP or something similar.

Of course you'd go to the RuneScape Markets section for that.

 

^ This is probably your best bet. It would be highly worth it to do so though, pretty sweet deal if you ask me. My membership was running out around the beginning of December anyways, so as soon as I saw that deal I snatched it up

 

I'll be willing to buy it, but it costs me 38 dollars, but i would want atleast gold at .5 for whatever it costs in USD.

 

The problem with that is that I only have about 110m rsgp and I'd much rather spend my real life cash. Does anyone know an alternative to entropay?

 

For 50M its yours. just saying. if you want membership, and you want it now. it can be done.

 

Maybe this isn't the right place to ask, but isn't it technically possible to let paypal take the money directly from a bank account? I've looked around and people say that all you need to do is attach the bank account number to your paypal account and verify that it is yours. I did all of that a long time ago, but I can only pay using my paypal balance or a credit card.

 

When you use a bank account its a e-transfer, so you have to wait for the funds to be released from the bank account to paypal then paypal processes the money and gives it to the recipient. This process takes about 3-5 days.

 

But I never get the option to do that :huh:
I can only pay using the money that is already on my paypal account / use a credit card. If I want to load funds from my bank account onto my paypal balance, I can only do so by manually doing a bank transfer.

What I'm looking for is to give paypal direct debit permissions on my bank account, but can't find the option to do so.

 

I think that only happens once you have a credit card attached or something. Ive seen it work for people before but idk.

 

Moneypak is the way to go if you can find someone to go buy you one. I added $170 instantly to my paypal about a week ago and had no problems. It is very easy you just go/have someone go to walmart or actually just about any pharmacy/retail chain type store and buy one with the prescribed amount of money added to it, then go to the moneypak website and enter the code and direct it to go into your PP and it adds the money instantly.

 

Thanks for the tip, but moneypak is only available for US accounts. I think I'll just let this discount slip.
