Standard Iphone head phones, I believe I've nearly flatten the cords by chewing on them [dont ask why LOL] yet they still work, and its broken when the cord separates in two and still works.

What type of headphones do you use?

I have a lot of pairs of earphones/ headphones.

I have a few pairs of Creative Ep-630s, they are good earphones and cheap as well. Then I have a pair of Sennheiser Cx300 which is better and is the one I normally wear when I go out. My favorite pair of earphones is the brainwavz m1, because I like to listen to a lot of rock music and these earphones have good clear highs and meds. I have a pair of Grado SR80i which I use for listening to music at home because the cord is really thick and long, it's a hassle to walk around and use it. Finally I have a pair of Skullcandy Ink'd earphones, which are the same as the one you posted, they are not bad and have quite decent bass. I got them for £10, you paid $40? Sounds a bit overpriced where you live.

Writing that made me feel like an audiophile.

Skullcandy sucks. I have a pair of the over ear ones.

If you want good quality, a pair of Bose or Koss will do ya right.

I have no idea why people would spend so much money on beats or souls when outside of brand name they usually have no clue what even makes a good set of head phones.

What type of headphones do you use?

Got a nice pair of Phillips brand over the head style headphones that do all I need and more. The quality is the same as my cousin's Beats (he was in town so I tested it out)

Save my parents probably 250 bucks.

    EDIT:
If you want a good pair of cheap headphones get SkullCandy's, although they are a name brand they tend to be rather cheap for the quality.

Don't get earbuds, they fall out of your ear unless pushed in very deep which tends to hurt. If you need in the ear headphones get something like the apple headphones, they actually stay in the ear much better. Some headphones come with a band that kind of 'hooks' on top of the ear, these are good also.

If you are just looking for HIGH ASS quality headphones you're going to need to spend a lot, but here are a few:
    - Yuin Pk2's
    - SoundMAGIC PL50
    - Sony MDR's - You may have seen these before

Those are HIGH QUALITY headphones, you will not get that with many brands. The deal is, most of the music you have in your library is probably not even high enough quality to sound different. Beats are just basically high quality head phones with a fancy logo, most of the 12 year old prepubescent children who buy them ripped their music straight from Youtube, meaning they probably have very low quality music. So unless every song in your iTunes is a WAV file (Probably not considering a standard WAV file is 15-25MB) with 1-2k bit rate, I think you'll be fine just going with your normal headphones.

    Cheers :D

What type of headphones do you use?

Here's an opinion from a DJ that's on iTunes, AmazonMP3, and has a real Music Career.

Headphone series are great. People just buy headphones because they either are:
    1. Cheap (Just to listen to music)
    2. Expensive (Because since they are expensive.. they MUST be good right?)

The Two options above are definite not true in the ()'s.

People do not care to look at the ratings, DB's settings etc.

The WORST brands of headphones I have ever used were:
    Skull-Candy and Dr.Dre's.

    Why?:
SkullCandy: Cheap-- Chinese design. They are OVERPRICED. Remember Rule 2: (Expensive; must be good) ... They just break easily. Rather buy a pair of dollar-store earbuds.

Dr.Dre: This is Mass-Produced. Think it as your local McDonalds. They wanna make money fast, cheapier, and make their food still good. They mix nasty different types of meat to make sure you have that taste everytime.

I've bought a pair of Dr.Dre Studios when they came-out. Ended up returning them 1 - 3 hours later.. they were broken.

Oh yes: Remember rule 2.. (Expensive must be good)

I can go on and on with Decibels, and such.
    Lemme Say;

The best brands I've had were:
JBL, Sony (Some products by Sony), JVC, TECHNICS (best brand, very expensive), Kenwood, AutoTek, and tons more.

Don't waste you money. Learn about ratings before buying headphones.
Don't judge the price, judge the performance.

What type of headphones do you use?

Currently using Razer Electra for audio but the mic kinda sucks, so I use the Microsoft Lifechat 3000 just for the mic and wear the electra's when I talk to people. It's actually a really good mic, especially for a £15 headset.
