Staff Feedback

I think people saying mods are biased is horseshit. They got rules as everyone does; they do their best to keep sythe a safe community. So props to all mods. In particular Superman, i always see him controlling stuff pretty well, and being 'fair' at the same time.

 

Runescape Mods/Market Mods - When you ban/close the live-stream java driveby spammers could you just close all there threads right away instead of waiting for people to report them because people tend to spam the threads which causes them to be bumped to the top over and over.

 

They normally get posted all over the place so you normally need perms in more than one section in order to be able to effectively remove all of the spam.

When this sort of thing happens, the sectional that handles it (if it's a sectional) deletes all of the threads in the sections they have permissions in. They then make the best effort to contact a global or another sectional w/ perms in the section(s) w/ the remaining posts. Sometimes it's not as fast as others. The best thing you guys as users can do is DO NOT POST ON IT -- By posting on these threads, you're consistently bumping it to the top and all you are doing is putting more people at risk. One or two "DO NOT CLICK -- VIRUS/JAVA DRIVEBY" post is MORE than enough. We don't need 20 people posting the same thing in one thread.

OT: Kudos to sectionals for keeping spam reports below two pages consistently. I think we've finally found a good place to be as far as amount and quality of staff.

All - I like the increased activity in high pardons. Whether they vote up or down doesn't really matter.. But the fact that the pardons are being considered is a nice thing to see.
