Best Monitor?

I'm looking to buy a monitor so I can have it be connected to both my Xbox and my Asus G74. Can anyone recommend a good one?

 

Well what kind are you wanting? full HD like 1080P or beyond?

 

Full HD. I just need a good reliable monitor that I won't be mad down the line that I spent $300+ on.

 

How many inches & pixels do you require? 21+? 1920x1080?

I'm from the US so those 2 won't work.

 

I'd try to find a nice TV. Sadly, the g74 doesn't support 3 monitors, found that out the hard way =\

 

It has a VGA input, how does it not support monitors?

I know you said 23"+, but this is the best monitor I've ever owned:

It's an LG E2260V-PN and you can probably get it in larger sizes. It doesn't take up much space either since it's insanely thin. It's full 1080p HD, LED backlit, and will work perfectly with your Xbox.

 

i have the samsung syncmaster 213T its 21" and around 330

 

How much did it cost and have you tried having Xbox and Computer running at the same time on it?

 

I said it doesn't support 3 monitors..

It will support vga, it will support hdmi, but when you have both plugged in it will favor vga and not use the hdmi unless you set it to in the control panel. But it is not made to recognize 2 external monitors, so it's one or the other.

and what do you mean by that? You can't run two of anything on any screen at the same time...

 

You can, you just can't display them at the same time. I used to have my PC and Xbox setup on the same screen before I got my TV. All I had to do was change between DVI and HDMI to flip back and forth.

 

I mean, it allows me to have VGA and RGB in at the same time right?

 

It has VGA, HDMI and DVI ports, and you can switch between inputs with the buttons on the bottom of the monitor.
