A NEW Kind Of Thread Here

Dear Active Sythers,

..... I create this thread, not as a flame to each and everyone of you, but to us as a whole, as a family, if I may go that far as to say so myself. Many of you, most of you whom are active in this community have probably posted here with a complaint of some sort. Hell, no one here is perfect, not even Sythe himself. What I am starting to see a lot of is staff feedback. Not that the staff do not deserve a very well earned Thank You! From time to time, I believe that many of us, also need a thank you.

.....As many of you high-end traders that like to sell mills, upgrades, 138's, MSP, WoW Accounts, I would like to say Thank You. Approximetly 90% of UNBANNED members here at Sythe.org, are not douchebags, they are not assholes, and they are just everyday people that come here for 1 common goal. This goal, although common to everyone here, is also different for everyone. Some people are looking to make a little extra cash, others are here for the fun and to get better at a game. Even the scammers here are great sometimes. They give us knowledge on how to protect our real world items that are made of matter, and not pixels.

.....Enough of me rambling on about how great this site and its members are. I would like to get down to the point of this thread. I see alot of people thank moderators, who as stated above, do a great job, but I don't see people actually taking their time to write out thanks to any member that has possible made a difference on their life. I see some of these people post helpful things everyday and I can't recall the last time I have seen one of them get publicly thanked. So this is what I would like to dedicate this thread too. Thanking the members that have made a positive community on Sythe.org, and its members, without necessarily donating big $ to Sythe.org. Anyone who posts a legitimate claim to thank someone here, and with valid evidence, or reasoning can feel free to post why, and I, or a Mod/Admin, can edit this post and include it in the below list.

Zerk, you sir, are one of the most active individuals in the Personal Support forum. You are always one to express your concerns, and condolences in a well though-out manner with accuracy to minute details in the OP's wall of text. You really have impacted me with all of the times that I have posted there with help. We havn't really talked much recently, but you are a great guy, and an amazing friend. I know you will always be there to talk to me if I have a shitty day, and for that, I thank you. You are a legend, and even though you have only donated $5, we all still love you <3.

.....RStrader. I have never really talked to you 1 on 1 in MSN or PM's. But the thing about you is, it really does help to know that someone understands out there. It helps to know that if I message you, you wont take weeks to hit me up. It helps to know that you are there and you will be there if someone needs to talk. I've added you on MSN and hope we can talk sometime soon, not nessecarily about anything, but about everyday kinda stuff. You are also a very active member in the Personal Support forum and you have probably helped alot of people there too! Not just me. I hope you continue to stay active and donate even more money to help some people out.

You have been a very sincere friend to me for close to a year now.

Our one year anniversary is coming up in just 4 months and I have already planned our celebration.

I will be awaiting your arrival into Australia on that date and hoping to relish every minute of your company.

Not only that, but you have been a true member of Sythe.org which is why I developed my signature dedicated just for you.

We have both been through both good and bad times, but it's the hardships that bring us closer day by day.

I know there are many people in this community who rely on you, particularly myself, however I wish for your attention to be more focused on me.

I'd really like to thank Zerkerfist and Rstrader for their input in regards to some of my personal crisis/ problems. I really, really appreciate your work in the personal support.
Also, to my conversations with Benwise about all this stuff. Even though i'm sure he will never read this.

 

I'd like to thank a lot of people actually, and I'll do more later because I'm bound to forget someone.

I'm sure its more a joke than anything, and I certainly don't take offence to it at all I honestly wish I could donate more to Sythe, and I am sure I will in the future, but as many of you guys know, my personal situation is very turbulent and I am deeply in debt because of my past, and therefore do not have alot of money at all, let alone money that I can donate to Sythe I also don't own much RSGP on RS, or I would gladly donate much more that way. But I love this website and rest assured that in the future when my situation is more stable, and I am once again employed and/or have more money to toss around, I will surely be donating to Sythe and hoping to increase my donation rank!

Also, I just want to thank both NRQ and Sypherz!

• NRQ - for making this thread and taking the time to mention me. I am very flattered, and that was so nice of you :embar: Your a great guy, and it really means alot to me to know that I have been able to help you & other people through merely posting and talking. It is honestly the least I can do for you guys, and for this website, and I am more than happy to take the time out of my days to do this for you You are also a very kind person yourself, I can't thank you enough for the time you took out of your evening last night to make & verify a PayPal account for me. I am excited to be able to use it now, and I would not have been able to do it without you.
  
• Sypherz - Same goes to you buddy. I'm very glad I have been able to help you through some of your personal crises by offering your advice & comfort. I have been in your shoes before and I know how bad it hurts & how important it is to recieve support from other people during those low moments. You are also a great member of this forum and I like having you around Sythe to chat with, and I value your opinions & comments greatly.

• Emperor Nero - You are a really nice kid, and I quite enjoy the chats we have had once in awhile. Like I said with Sypherz, I quite enjoy your presence around the forums and I always value your advice, comments, and input in all the threads I see you post in. You are also a great listener, and I always feel comfortable talking to you, and like I am being heard. I hope that in 2012 we can continue to build our friendship and grow closer!
  
• RSTrader1471 - Don't know you too well yet, but we are starting to become friends and you are definitely one person that I want to become much better friends with in the New Year. I constantly see you around the same sections as me on Sythe, and you are very genuinely helpful to people who are in need of personal support in the PS forum. Your kind words, and thoughful advice are a great help to many people I am sure, and I like your attitude and your eagerness to help others and make Sythe a better place. Props to you buddy!

**EDIT: I also forgot to add that I think this thread is a great idea NRQ, and this should be stickied! We have a section on the forums for Staff Feedback (which is a great), but what about feedback and/or praise for other active members who are contributing or helping the community and working hard to make Sythe a better place?? The staff here on Sythe are amazing, and truly make these forums run as smoothly as they do. But without all the amazing members who report spam, scammers, and ban evaders, write guides and answers questions, offer thoughtful advice to one another, as well as a MULTITUDE of other things, Sythe.org would not be NEARLY as great of a place as it is now.

Having a place to go to write feedback or praise members who are working hard & doing a good job would be a great idea, to simply just publically recognize those members, aswell as raising morale and keeping everybody happy by feeling that their accomplishments & contributions are recognized and appreciated. Great idea NRQ!
