Misleading titles in gold threads

Why is it allowed that some people such as the person who made this thread put an extremely low price such as .5 in their title when the lowest is actually .63?

I feel like this is unfair to other honest sellers who put the actual price of their gold in the title.

Prices change and its a lot easier to edit your post than your title.

 

Yea, but they never edit their title... and its actually simple, report the thread and a mod will change in minutes.

 

Why is part of my title changed? That's kind of annoying & stupid as fuck looking.. >.<

Prices change every day. Also, mods don't change threads in just minutes. You can't really expect them to either.

To keep up with prices for every thread as gp changes, do every other spam report, etc; it's not possible to get it all done. Gold changes often as all get out. It's not that big of a deal that somebody's thread title is outdated. It's a useless thing to worry about. Time's better spent else where.

Not agreed, this is just a opinion. When people see you're selling gold for 0.5 (title) while other people have an updated title, let's say 0.65, you'll get people watching your thread.

Once watching your thread they'll buy from you faster because there's 1 click made. All webshops use this tactic, not in this contact but it can be compared.

I've no solution to this problem. You're right, gp prices change every day and there's allot of work to do for mods when each gold merchant will make a change to their title.

Also it's not a option to forbid prices in titles because of the same reason as I disagree on with punk.

 

This is by far the most annoying thing in sythe, it's just retarded, people lying about their gold price, I find it as a scam. Luring peoPle to watch their thread, I do think that thy should get infractions mods should
Force them to change the title. I got very irritated the other day, a guy saying o.55/m when it was 0.7/M. Seriously mods do something about it, there's ashame that ranked people do this shit, luring people to watch their thread. I'm also going to fight for this, I'm going to make sure that every single scumbag that has a misleading thread gets infracted or forced to change

Clearly that's bullshit mods should do their job. It takes 1 sec to change the title, don't you guys have a mod for black marke ( gold selling )? Then he/she should focus on it.

EDIT: I've the same problem with my gold selling thread. I don't feel much for updating prices each day.

 

They should have to have it within at least .05 of their actual price. I've seen .5 advertised, and you go in and it's actually .75

Could be made a rule off this. But for now it's very obviously why no-one changes it, because of the unfair competition.

Like everyone else says: When everybody does it, I'll do it too. For my own title is changed, waiting for the rest to do so
