Make your own fun rank! [Closes January 11th]

The Sythe administrators have decided to host a competition in order to add a few new fun ranks for the site.

How this competition works:

• Users submit designs and suggested fun ranks on this thread
• The ranks are reviewed by the administration. We'll only pick the best ranks so please note yours may not be used.
• If yours is decided to be one of the best, you'll be the first one to have the rank permanently. Traditionally, the fun rank will then be given to staff members as we see fit.

Examples of current and suggested fun ranks:





Competition rules:

1. Don't use any current staff rank icons(partyhats, santas, etc).
2. The rank can't have the text of "best trader", etc. It cannot be related to the trust ranks(like highly trusted, highly respected) or market.
3. Please turn off anti aliasing/smoothing for the text in Photoshop.
4. Submit the ranks in .png form and transparent.
5. Like all other ranks, please make sure they're within 130 x 40 pixels.
6. The font required is 'Visitor TT2 BRK' (download here)

IMPORTANT: Make sure to unselect the background layer when saving as a .png. It is only there to show how it will look in the area of every post with user name and other ranks.

I may give this ago. What is the font used in Sythe Ranks?

 

'Visitor tt2 brk' I believe. As for the ranks, I don't think I'll bother really, and I'll leave it up to the community to get creative. I prefer to earn the rank later on Although I may change my mind if I can think of something original

 

Working on it now, hopefully it turns out nice.

I've got it on my old PC, I used it in userbars.

There's no definite date we'll close the competition.

No. The only exception would be if you made a banhammer rank or something that makes sense for only current staff to wear.

Other notes: I don't see a middle eastern or terrorist rank being approved. :O

I want that 'troll' rank, I'm afraid I can't think of anything myself but if I do I'll post it. I have Photoshop anyway.

 

For the staff with the most logs at the end of the month/half year/year etc. Had to do this one hahaha
