Solid guide for any newcomer unaware of this technique and want to help out the community. Showing how to report a Ban Evader would be helpful for this guide to.

Feel free to also PM any moderator to check a users' IP's and other possible accounts. Excellent guide

 

COuld still use a brush-up, but the theory is sound and it should work - Useful to know in any circumstances.

 

You should add for most members it requires you to look back to their first posts they made with their first email obviously some it wouldn't apply to but most such as 2008 members would require you to search posts if under 200 posts and threads if over 200 posts, usually most vaders have their emails listed in the first thread they created on sythe where they are buying or selling items. Most evaders figure out an email can lead to a ban so they change it some time while they are on sythe but most tend to forget their old emails can still be found. also for emails with (.rs, -rs, runescape or anything related to major sites) quotations around the "email" work really well.

Too short, extra steps I suggest :

- Google of the information you can : the username, email and on.
- If you already know the username of the member's ''new'' account, check their writing style, is it the same. Does the person make the same grammatic mistakes etc.
- Ask a mod to check their IP addresses.
- If you can, check the person's Birthdate, Location and any extra info you can and compare/google it.

Thats how good it is, tricks vaders into banning themselves

and on another note gyazo is actully hermes but only have circumstantial evidence atm, not enough to warrant a ban
