Runescape Sucks. I QUIT

I quit about 2 months ago. Not cause I felt like it was taking over me, I only played like 5 hours a week max.

I quit because:

-Jagex Made the shittiest Updates, there's so many untested updates that put out bugs that may result in people getting insanely rich, or people losing bills and Jagex not doing anything about it, even if it's their own fault.

-They care too much about profiting off of the game instead of making it a better, cleanlier, friendlier enviornment (Membership prices have risen drastically)

-It lags like hell

-Pking sucks; constitution is a fucking gay, there are too many overpowered weapons (korasi, claws, etc), 1 itemers, rushers

-FUCKING DICERS (even though dicing is removed, it didn't affect gambling at all due to flower games, horsey, and dragon dyce hosts its on IRC dicing chat)

-Scammers; how many times do you see "doubling money-legit" or "flower game x5" around Varrock? It's just sad and annoying.

-Too many high leveled fags who don't do shit but act like they run the game

-All my good friends (irl, and not irl) friends quit back in 08

-90% of the current Runescape players consist of fucking nerds and newfag preteen non pubescent queers.

-There is a record amount of RWT, (from staking and dicing), don't get me wrong, I think staking should exist but only if it doesn't lead to RWT.

-The main point of Runescape now, is to have the coolest outfit, don't tell me I'm wrong. Whats your goal in Runescape?

All in all, I fucking hate Runescape. I know I'll get a shit ton of hate and trollers, but I'm okay with it. And besides, there's a record number of people quitting. 2012 is going to be the starting of the worst years of Runescape to come. The only people going to be playing RuneScape in a couple years from now are going to be 99% of the newly attracted players who get drawn in from advertisements and graphical updates, while all the old and loyal players eventually quit because they're tired of the shitty game.

So, thats it. I'm selling my accounts. You can check em out if you'd like. I am not being hypocritical by selling my account, I know it's RWT but this is a one time thing. I sell it, and quit. I'm not selling gold on a consistent basis so it's barely as harmful as RWT
Oh and if anyone knows a good private server or a version of 2006, old school Runescape I could play, let me know. I know rs2006 is coming out, but i feel like that will take like a year or so more to come out.

What's the problem with Scammer and Dicers? It's not that difficult to avoid being scammed or losing a whole ton of RSGP when you're in game.

Aren't you being hypocritical? You're saying you're against RWT, and yet you're selling your account...

I've got no hate for you for quitting, I agree Runescape has gone down hill since '07... I'm just curious about some of your reasons =D

 

True story i dont know but making cash was way harder back then.. '07 was much better.

 

You've done a good thing, trust me. The key now is not to look back and enjoy your LIFE now that it won't revolve around RS.

its like $100 a year for membership and if your like 7-15 $100 is alot

 

Xbox live/WOW is even more expensive....

just because you had a bad time playing runescape at one point doesnt mean it sucks

 

Now you can just sit back and log on Sythe browse for a bit without worrying about Runescape all the time.

 

rs is going to be good, i'm from 2004 and I like the new runescape only thing is that pking should be different that it can never be picked up by a damn looter...

 

The good ol' days where being a level 100+ would give you a paramount of respect . Good choice mate; just stick with it and you won't regret it.
