My Locked pure

Woke up this morning to find that my pure had been locked, no idea why. I never recieved a e-mail from them saying my account has been locked either.. even tho i know its my e-mail on the account. So ive just submitted an appeal and it said at the top, you do not have a recovery e-mail set on this account... which is very strange as i know i do. So im just waiting for a reply from the locked recvoery attempt now.

 

hmm interesting, ive only had my account locked when i had some idiot keylogging me and i didnt figure it out till i had lost the pwd 3 times... and then it was locked so..., but it still said i had my email on it

maybe you were keylogged and they changed your email and pwd n because it was from a different IP jagex mite have locked it

 

i can't of been keylogged, im running a full scan now on microsoft securuty essentials. But i havn't been anywhere dangerous

 

maybe its a java driveby? i personally got contacted by some idiot who tried 2 get me on a website that required java

Still no reply from jagex - also scan was good

 

It the account is locked the recovery quests get unset and the e-mail gets unset.

But I think this used to happen after the account was unlocked, not sure if those get reset on the very same moment the account does get locked.

 

cheers bud, 2 and a half hours later, still havn't heard anything. It's strange i never got an e-mail saying the account was locked... :S

 

I'm pretty sure you don't get a notice for that.

 

hmm im sure you used to atleast. Does anyone know how long a unlock appeal roughly takes? It appears my i.p address has changed, i was told this is because its the 1st of jan and it resets :S so im not appealing on the i.p i had all last year :S. But im using all correct info, oringinal recovs. worst thing is i can't remember the original password tho.

 

If you're original owner, you have nothing to wory about it.
A lock appeal used to be a fixed period of 24 hours for a response, not sure now, just wait.

Your ip adress changes every so often, it's not that big of a deal.

Same happened to my main (Where the email was removed and it was locked).

Havn't been able to recover it (I am the original owner, i have all the recoveries, first 3 passwords, etc etc etc etc). I assume its a glitch or a ban sort of thing, no idea. Hopefully u can recover it tho, gl.

 

That prick scammed me $25... I can't be bothered to make a scam report but he did. Anyway he linked me to a site with java on it and i declined it. Didnt click accept so yer, that is probably why your account has been locked, if you have clicked on something like that.

Someone tried to recover it too many times. Just wait for it to be unlocked or wait for a response.
