Dungeoneering...

So I botted it before the nuke to about 96. Now I want to get it up more and do some floors with my clan (who doesn't know I've ever botted and will kick me out if they do).

I think it'd be pretty obvious that a Lv96 Dung doesn't know how to dungeoneer at all is a botter.

So, anyone want to tell me how to do floors or link me to a dummys guide to how everyones doing floors most efficiently?

Dunging for dummies ahaha I like it. I think i will make a guide on how to dung properly.

 

If you're not keying, you won't need to know much.

Listen to keyer at all times, he'll use terms that you need to know:

GTGD / GGSGD = Teleport to the gatestone to help with the Guardian door (kill all monsters in room)
MGT = Move the gatestone to keyer/door.


Door keys are shortened to the first letters of key shape + first letters of color of the key.

RuneWiki is your BEST friend when doing dungeoneering, that has EVERYTHING you need; Boss information, herblore information, summoning information. Very useful to have up when you're doing dungeoneering.

If you don't want to get noticed as a botter, just try to blend in, try to stay with the keyer or other people in your group.

If you have high skills always buy a toolkit. Help with doors.

Collect items of value (high level herbs / coins) and drop at Home teleport OR make potions if you're high herblore.

Don't just stand there, if you're ever idle just see what the keyer is doing, even teleport to him if he needs help.

Learn the puzzles, and how to do them, most are VERY easy. (Runewiki helps with this)

Best advice I can give (how I learned) was to watch youtube videos

 

just go and give it ago. i had the same problem, but i just followed everyone else's lead. When it got to the boss, i'd quickly google it lol, to see what prayers to use

 

Try going into a team that isnt in the clan so you get the jist of it.

 

there are lots of youtube vids of people showing off rushing and stuff and selling their dunging services so just watch them. Also if your not keying you will figure out stuff, last go to the high level dung world (dont know the current one) and find some teams and hang out there for a day and make sure nobody in your clan is also there on your team i think you will be able to figure it out with pubs and vids.
