How to lower my ping?!

Any good ways on how to lower my ping? My ping is like 250 when I play games...super annoying.

 

Your ping generally has to do with your distance to the server. There's not much you can do to lower it besides choose servers closer to you.

 

That. I mean, ping can be slow if you are using loads of bandwidth but you have fast internet so that shouldn't be the problem.

 

Try what the above have said, also before playing games try closing any programs which may require the internet such as msn/firefox/utorrent. Also if there are any users on your network at the same time it will also deteriorate the quality of the connection between you and the server.

Oh, if its COD, play dedicated servers, match-making is terrible.

 

Perhaps someone is downloading or you're using shared internet and someone is downloading without your knowledge on the same network.

Or you just have really slow internet.

 

Your ping is fine on the speedtest picture, if you getting high ping on games is because of the game servers not your connection, as mentioned above all you can do is choose a server closer to you.
