    How to construct a...

    page jump?

When creating a guide on Sythe, how do I construct a page jump so when clicking on the table of contents, it quickly scrolls to the correct page.

If you don't know what a page jump is, please don't bother posting.

    EDIT:

    To be more descriptive...

By page jump, I was referring to the internal of a thread. In one thread...if I create a table of contents for example:

    Table of Contents

    1) Meow
    2) Woof
    3) Chirp

If one was to click on one of those three wordings, I want it to be able to scroll you down (ON THE SAME PAGE) to the beginning of that category of the ENTIRE guide.

I don't mean to link you to another thread.

No, it's not, however; I see where you're going with it.

Thank you regardless. Anyone else know?

I understand what you're trying to do, but as far as I know you cannot do that on this site.

Are you sure? Because when searching for a keyboard, sometimes in the address the bar, at the end of the URL there is a "#" and then a few numbers following. This is what I'm looking for, except to be able to do it intentionally so I can get it to work with my table of contents, =/.

The # thing will take you to a specific post in that thread, but you can't customize how far down you want it to go, I don't think.

Only way I can think of doing it is to separate it into X amount of posts.

You can't do jumps to within a post. I've always wanted that feature but we don't have it. If you are writing some massive post, just split it up into multiple and link people to each post but otherwise there isn't a way to do it.

Was just going to write that.

The only way to do that is to click the # sign on the post.
