Are they going to go down anytime soon? I have rarely seen the prices skyrocket so quickly, like they happened overnight. I think the winter holidays has an effect on this jump, but will the holidays ending cause gold to become any cheaper?

Not sure they will go down as long as the bots doesn't come back.

If the bots do not come back; prices will Sky rocket. If bots DO comeback, the prices will decline.

But in the end, some bots remain.

EDIT: If you look at prices about 4 to 5 months ago when bots were still flourishing; prices were roughly .45 to .50/M. Depending on the seller. Now its about .64 to .75/M.

My question was that will prices decline, even a tiny, little bit, after winter holidays?

Prices will stay. Holidays have nothing to do with prices.

Prices are high because there is hardly any outflow of rsgp.

Not here to argue, but you may have peace of mind buying from r2p/busta/arcus, But I would rather look for an individual which is selling gold at reasonable prices. I already found a guy who is currently selling at .54 and doesn't seem shifty or dodgy and isnt declining the use of a MM or OMM if necessary.

Not true at all, even the real economy is affected by holidays.
Though the influx of gp into the economy is slowing so rares will continue to drop.

I wouldn't say so. It depends on if there is a surge in demand or decrease.

Actually the holidays increase GP demand, so prices do increase. I was just wondering if once the holidays are gone then will they decrease.

Christmas Holiday period will introduce more demand for GP as people are more than likely spending and buying more, and this is an obvious future proof event as it happens both virtually and non alike, the prices will stick for a while but they will fall as due to its sudden rise people will seek the individual sellers as this is a prime opportunity for amateur sellers to benefit from the situation also,

and buyers will seek OMM /MM rather than pay $1/PM when they can buy for $0.55 with the use of a OMM which reinforces safety within the transaction and in most situations are statistically recognizably more trusted than some sellers.

I believe it's bidirectional between the holiday and a large percentage of bots gone.

Same, The prices I think WILL skyrocket but it is easy to make money on Rs nowadays the prices declined from the $10.00 1m from years ago to now .50c because it was easier to make money and people botted. It should go back up since there aren't many bots but on the other hand they may not from the easy cash in other fourms of bossing ect.

If bots don't come back: Prices will keep rising, as gold will be harder to get.
