Melon farm

I get around 4 stacks melon if they are both filled, so it's enough to keep me alive!

 

You on a server or just playing by yourself?

Is it PvP?

 

No, the normal world isn't at the moment, since the system got abused. However, PvP is enabled in Nether, so you'll have to watchout while being there ^_^. You can actually check the livemap too, then you might get an idea of how it works.

You should! They are really easy to build and produces a lot of melon

 

You should check out YouTube user "GenerikB" for his fully automatic melon farm. He made rows of melons and then made the last one connect to a BUD switch, so when it grows it automatically harvests them all. Also, he uses water canals to carry the melon slices to a central location in his underground base.

 

Never thought about having it like this.. I may try it.
