Thanks man for taking the time too listen and offer feedback. I really appreciate it. Recovery looks dim according to other people having the same issues after taking the drug. I want too hopefully get some compensation from the pharmaceutical company which produces the drug. I'm in a lawsuit right now against them. I mean i'm generally a good person and it kind of hinders my goals and abilities because I have no energy or motivation to do them. I also don't like the fact that it caused me too gain weight around my weight section. I always exercise and its so difficult too remove.

Anytime bro, thats what I created this thread for :)

Good for you for taking on the pharmaceutical companies man.. I know thats not an easily battle. Unfortunately, most of those pharmaceutical corporations are absolute giants and have so much influence over all sorts of things because of how much money they make. It is going to be a tough battle but if you can win, you may save countless other people who could potentially go through the same thing you did.

Just take your life one day at a time right now, and remember that its not your fault the way things are. Just don't let that discourage you, stay strong and keep fighting back against this issue and make sure you are trying to exercise daily and that you are getting minor things done. Hopefully in time you can fully recover from the effects of these drugs and move forwards in your life.

Are you aware if there is any sort of support groups, or therapy for people that have gone through the same/similar situations? If you could find some groups to attend a few times per week to talk about this openly with people who understand you, it may help loads during your recovery. Give it a thought :) The internet is a great place to reach out and find resources like that in your community or online.

Yeah its going too be a tough battle but I have too persevere through it and have faith. I guess im just upset that I didn't listen too my parents telling me too not take it. I guess its karma all this happened? I don't really know what too believe anymore. I seem to accomplish little or nothing at all, the way i see it. I just wish I had that feeling of accomplishment and being in a good point in life.

That feeling of accomplishment can take years to work yourself towards. I have a very hard time motivating myself to move forwards sometimes aswell, as that feeling of accomplishment and achievment just seems so far in the future that it makes me feel hopeless. But you just have to keep moving forward every single day, one step at a time, and tackling one issue at a time.

Don't spend too much time dwelling on the past, and what could have been or should have been. You need to work yourself up to a headspace where you finally accept where you are at right now in your life, and start focusing on where you want to be and how you are going to get there.

It takes perseverance, motivation, and an unflinching determination to get from point A to B in life sometimes. But just never give up! You can do it man :) We all can.

"Perseverance is a positive, active characteristic. It is not idly, passively waiting and hoping for some good thing to happen. It gives us hope by helping us realize that the righteous suffer no failure except in giving up and no longer trying. We must never give up, regardless of temptations, frustrations, disappointments, or discouragements."

3 years ago, I was involved in a fatal car crash. I was the only survivor out of my family. I have no relatives overseas and I stopped them from putting me in a foster home. Here I am now, 16 years old, living on my own, paying my own bills etc. Shitty life tbh.

Seriously? No offense, but it's highly unlikely you have been left by yourself when you were only 13 years old, it's impossible.

I was just reading your other thread man, and all I can say is that I know exactly what you are going through. I've been there myself, and I know how much it hurts. Break ups are an inevitable part of life for most people, and yet they can be some of the most painful and emotionally traumatizing experiences that people go through.

The process of being seperated from a person you love, whether a significant other, a friend, or a family member, is extremely tough to go through. But the special emotional/physical connection that you share with a lover is an unprecedented and unmatched kind of love that is hard to find, amazing to experience, and absolutely heartwrenching to lose.

I hope you get through this okay man, it will take time. If you ever need to talk, don't hesitate to contact me :)

This is interesting, although I have to agree with rstrader that it sounds a little fishy. I am not denying your claims at all - but if you could elaborate a little further that would be nice :)

Suddenly being left alone at 13 years old, entering the work force, and setting up a life of your own is certainly a possibility. But it would difficult to do without alot of help, and so I would like to hear more if you want to share.

A relative that lived across the world did something that made forced you to have to stay in foster care?

Do you mean they got in trouble with the law or something and were subsequently deemed unfit to to care for a child, and so you had to stay in foster care? Or what?

One of my best friends has extremely abusive parents and was just put in a foster home (until she turns 18 in a couple months). I really feel for you..

Aliosman - I just re-read what you said and realized that I actually misread it lol. I thought you said an overseas relative did something and so you weren't allowed out, not the other way around. I apologize.

Foster care is tough though, and I can't imagine growing up in a foster home, or various ones for that matter. I've seen many of my friends go through it over the years, and it can be very hard on a person, especially at a young age when your family is so important to you.

Wow. That's tough on your friend. Your friend is getting punished by getting put in a foster home because her parents are twisted.

The most phsyical painfull thing i've been through is when i Broke my neck and the top of my back in 4 places (C7, T1, T2 and T3) in a motocross crash, on fathers day. Was layed up for a while and i was told i was very lucky no damage was caused to my spinal cord as i could of been in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. I guess i look at it more lucky than unlucky. Just greatfull im ok now.

WOW! That is a truly crazy story man, I can't believe your broke BOTH your neck & back and walked away from it in the same condition you were in before the accident. That is truly remarkable!

My Uncle passed away a few years ago, but previous to his death he lived a very sad life for many years, as he spent 9 years being quadriplegic (completely paralyzed from the neck down) after he broke his neck in a car accident. It was truly devestating for him & our whole family, as he was one of the most active & outdoorsy people that I knew. He loved running, hiking, rock climbing, extreme sports etc. and had a girlfriend who he was about to marry, and then after his accident he lost absolutely everything except our family, particularly my grandparents.

It was sad when he passed away, but in many ways it was also sort of a relief, as seeing him lying there year after year in a bed, being unable to move and enjoy the things he once did, was torture. I can only imagine what life must have been like for him, and the constant battle he must have fought through in his head every single day..

So I'm very glad you are OK and survived your accident :) Consider yourself extremely lucky my friend! You were given a second chance to live life the way you love.

You truely are an amazing person, taking the time to read through everyone's life experiances. Not only that i see you commenting on many other threads giving helpfull/usefull info. I'd be proud do know someone like you. I'm sorry to hear about your Uncle, i can't say i know how it feels, but atleast before he had the accident he was able to live life doing what he enjoyed the most. Can't really ask for more than that from life.

Damn, that's really bad. You can die by breaking your neck so you were really lucky but i guess it just wasn't time for you to die.

Were you actually driving or were you a passenger>

Thanks man :) It is really the least I can do.. I like helping people, and being able to give something back to the community, and talking to people and/or giving them advice has always been something that I've been good at. But your opinion means alot to me and I'm thrilled to hear it :)

As for my Uncle, he was unlucky and I just hope he is at peace now and is free from the prison his body created for him. I would consider yourself extremely lucky though, and that is just another reason to live your life to the fullest every day and enjoy it thoroughly.. because you could have easily died or been in that same situation. You are very lucky, and blessed! :)
