Recovery questions

If I change the recovery questions will someone still be able to redeem the account back. If they have the email and membership info.

 

yes. most definately but if u own the questions u can get it back but in the end the account will be locked or he will win.

If it was a scammer on here report him...or just wish for the best and change the email and recoveries...but thats still not to say he cant recover the account if he was the original owner.

 

They will have a high chance of recovering it, if they appeal Jagex will noticed it was hacked as the recovery questions are changing. Make sure when your buying an account that the owner provides all details

An original owner can always recover the account because of their IP, it will be close to or the exact IP on which the account was created, they can recover the account back within seconds.

 

IP address is usually the "yes (recovered)" or "denied" factor in most account appeal/recovery processes. rstrader is right.
