My Birds iPhone 4S ( Girlfriend )

Look at this Photo... All she did was drop it on the floor and it cracked like that, It must of hit something sharp... But Suppose to be x20 Stronger then normal Glass.....

HOLY SHIT, Hahaha

Do you have insurance? maybe you have phone insurence? Also if you have home insurance you might be able to claim on that ask you're family
Does it have manufacturers warrenty? (usually 1 year)
Could you get it repaired by apple for a cost?

Sucks to be you, but mine cracked like that when I dropped it on our marble floor

 

I've been to several shops with her, and they demand a cost of ( £70 - £80 ) for a repair... I've also looked at Apple and they said they DO NOT FIX Screens because of ( SELF CAUSED ) Damage.

For insurance, The Contract she's on, the phone did not come with it.
Her house insurance does not cover it neither, Because They only have Fire damage or Burglary.

So Yeah.. Any other Suggestions?

Could be possible to do it self with right tools and a Handy youtube video ?

iPhone's are not worth the high price, let alone when the screen breaks every other week.

 

Book with genius bar at apple store. Be truthful and honest and say what happened (and get your girlfriend to do it if it's a guy) They gave me a whole new device in box because I was honest. Of course it's only a one off and next time I would pay $240

 

actually get a lifeproof case, they are waterproof,snow proof, shock proof and dust proof

 

My old iPod touch had a huge crack like that in the screen lol. I got this local guy to fix it for like $50. Do a quick search on kijiji for that kinda stuff and you could probably get it fixed for a deece price

 

You can buy the front screen for like $25 and fix it on your own. My friend dropped his and that is what he had to do.

iPhones shatter so easily because of the glass screen. You really need to have a protector for any smartphone unless you are a god at not dropping shit, which few people are.

 

I've got the Samsung Galaxy S2.... And I've dropped it a couple of times, But it remains in perfect condition, and this case was like £1.59 from eBay!

It's A Good Phone and Probably the best, Hehe.

 

My galaxy S 1 fell from waist high over 10 times and only a few minor scratches remained on the silver lining. Not a single scratch on the screen. My new SGS2 hasn't fallen yet, but youtube drop tests look promising
