How long does it take for a recovery to go through?

Titel, any1 knows?

 

It used to take about 4-30 minutes before the bot nuke, now it seems to be having many problems. I would say 1-2 hours, maybe even more if you're unluck, or just don't have enough details. Waiting will solve this problem though.

 

If you have all the info, 10 seconds.

Otherwise about ~15-30 minutes.

I believe there are some problems if you try to recover with email.

Did you choose recover with email or without email option?

 

Sometimes like 10 minutes, and other times can take up to like 4-7 hours, know this from experience

 

With mail, can you do it without? (dont got the right mail tho).

 

It actually depends on how much information is given. Once it took me 1-2 hours.

 

If you don't own the email adress that's currently registered on it, you have to use recover without email I think.

At the end it still asks for email adress so they can send you the result.

 

The new system is really weird. Generally, if you have your own email registered to the account, and are only recovering a forgotten password, you'll be directed to a link where you can instantly set a new password. If you don't have an email registered, you'll go through the normal recovery system, and depending on how much and how accurate your information is, the recovery should take about 10-15 minutes.

However, that isn't always the case. If you're recovering a locked account, you'll always be required to go through the regular recovery process (previous passwords, recoveries, creation details, etc.). How long it takes to recover it depends on how accurate your information is; the earlier the better. If you're the original owner, a locked account appeal with sufficient accurate information takes about 30 minutes

In either case, if you're the account's original owner and have a lot of information on it (accurate information), the recovery process will be a lot quicker.
That's basically what it comes down to; the more details you have, and the earlier they are, the sooner your recovery appeal will be accepted.

 

There are too many variables to get an exact time but if you have all the info to the account and it is the oldest info you have it shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. I have had it take days though when I didn't have a lot of info on the account.

 

I had all the correct info and it still took 4 hours a few days ago. It's luck, I guess.

 

I had to put a recovery test in yesterday, I got an email saying its been unlocked about 45 minutes later.

 

These days it depends last time it took me 5 hours

 

Tried recovering my friends account earlier ( he was with me it got hacked ) still no email. Good luck

 

A few hours normally, members accounts are prioritized though.

 

Depends on how busy Jagex are
For me I ususally get replied by Jagex about 10 minutes - 1 hour

 

Took 4 hours with all info right.

Varies from time to time

 

I heard Jagex changed it to deal the the hackers.

But don't hold me to that.
